Pointless waste. Arcturus gave Zerg a real Queen. He lost any support from Raynor and accually made him his leathal enemy. It all doesn't make sense, beyond intentional drama.

If we are to be so in-game specific, after I defeated Protoss, I obviously got spammed by Zerg. It didn't work. Line of loaded bunkers + Siege Tanks + Turrets and nothing even got pass this line. In meantime all their units were depleted. So yeah, doubly idiotic.

When I played that level in the first Starcraft, I set up massive defenses against the zerg. As it turns out, there's only a limited (but gigantic) number of them that come after you, and they can be held back. It just doesn't count for anything, since the level of course ends the same no matter what.

That aside, Blizzard latest cinematics are technically more proficient. Compare the textures, the subtle animations, particle effects. Not even close.

@MidnightGrunt Cartoon? Human Characters in The Old Republic look considerably cartoony as well. Only the "semi-human" or "humanoid" characters are believable. Human characters are still jarringly awkward animation-wise especially the facial-expression.

As for this cinematic, Kerrigan looks anime-ish, an obvious influence from Square-Enix. However, it doesn't mean that the textural quality, subtle details, and advance CG techniques are absent. They are all there.

We don't find cartoons or anime characters awkward even if they are far from real human than realistic characters because our mind is programmed n such a way that when we see them, we automatically avoid from comparing them with real human.

@FronteraFanatic At making games? NOPE. Bioware is better at writing characters and stories, but GAMES are about GAMEPLAY and Blizzard is better at designing gameplay system and balancing. Regarding CG cut-scenes though, Bioware hired Blur Studios to craft all of their CGs thus far, Blizzard instead has its own CG studio. Blizzard+SQUARE+BLUR+DIGIC=GOD­S of CG ANIMATION.
