@SUBinfinit You can build a decent gaming rig for just around $700 (or around $850 if you buy it off Cyberpower). Get a Phenom II X4 840, 4GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM, ATI Radeon 5450 1GB and a 650W PSU.

It should run BC2 at high (but not max) settings at a stable 60fps. It should run games like CS: S and TF2 at max settings at 80fps or so.

I Don't get the UMP snippets, you should remove that. Use the regular scope on sniper!! I like the fact you don't use the AT4, takes more skill to know where to shoot so it drops on target. AT4 is easy just guide and it's done.

To play this game at it's potential you need a PC>PS3>360.

PC has more crap to it. 60FPS!

BF looks better on my ps3 than on my 360 while COD looks waaay better on 360.

That's why BF3 has been mainly featured on PC, console debut had to be on PS3 as seen on Jimmy Fallon. Waiting for Xbox though.

the match making is non-existent, team mates are use-less, ppl use rpg/carl rocket to kill you when you are not in a vehicle, 1 out 4 ppl use the USAIS/SAIGA etc etc. The worst thing a console battlefield player can do is play this on a good P.C for a few hours....because dude i`m telling you we have half a game in comparison.I hope they take consoles more seriously for BF3. but consoles were made 4 kids.FULL-STOP

Well, turn it how you want. People complain that to many kids play this game, well when i played counterstrike or 1942 i was also a kid. Kids enjoy these games, sure in some games kids don't have allot of respect anymore. But that's because mainly the whole internet evolved like that. People only seem to hate, because the follow all the other people saying it.Younger kids can't ask there mom to buy a expensive pc with all the programs etc, in stead of that a console is cheaper

well we started out w/ an origional xbox. then we both got 360's. I got a Dazzle an he got a PVR. He could get a PC but it would be pointless. We agree that xbox is the best thing for gaming. We use really high sensativities so we can look almost as fast(one thing PC players always say is better) as a PC player. We don't have to use WASD for movement, thus we can move more fluid than a PC player. We also have bigger screens so HD isnt within a foot. That a reason consoles are better.

@MAlford65 Your "HD" is at best 720p. I can connect my PC to my 1080P HDTV and play @ 1920x1080 FULL HD on a 52 inch LCD. Higher resolution. Score 1 for PC.

When you tune your sensitivity way up, to be able to turn around faster you suffer further on your thumbsticks in terms of accuracy. On PC you dont have to max out sensitivity because its sufficient with a medium as long as you move your wrist fast enough. This also helps us aim better.

WASD vs thumbstick, this isnt an issue, really. Both are about the same, just less sweaty on a keyboard.

Just because you're content with a measly 30 fps console with medium accuracy and a extremely high % of bad players, does NOT make consoles better. Theres really no point in arguing this, a PC is better. (I could point out all kinds of optimization, tweaking, accessories etc if you want me to)

no WASD and thumbstick aren't the same. You can't take nearly as many angles with WASD. Games are set to a certain FPS. You don't select it -.-

@MAlford65 You can unlock FPS by disabling V-sync on a PC. Makes it go higher than 60. You can lock them with console access (guess what, console games ruined this too, its almost never available anymore)

Consoles are stuck @ directx9 and low-end cpu/graphics component. If you are a games developer, you are forced to make the game easier to run because of the console

Example: Crysis 2. It should be pure DX11, but no, because of PS3 and XBOX360 its DX9 with "some" DX11 patched in on PC version.

FPS don't break my heart. I'm good with 30(60 for CoD) I can use a fatass HDTV while you have have a 12 inch screen. So while your PC may run good in that screen, I can watch mine on a 60" TV.

And I'm sure you can somehow hook a PC up to your TV but that's just MORE money you're pooring into your PC. Consoles are more cost efficient

I'd also say that next-gen consoles will be realeased in a year or2.
