I hope Brock learned some shit against Velasquez, like not trying to stand up with someone who going into the fight was regarded as having much better striking game. That was the one clear area Cain had over him, and for whatever reason he tries getting into a fist fight.

I'm sure he was surprised at how good Cain was at slipping his grappling, but he'd have been better off persisting with holds. If he can learn to slow it up and work smart his big ass and experience would be more helpful lol

If you noticed too, he did a similar thing when he fought Mir the first time..he just went at it full throttle, without regard for his own vulnerability. In other words, he got too cocky.

Now, he definitely would have ate knuckle sandwiches and would have lost imo, but he totally abandoned that caculated, slower game plan and using his size and strength.

honestly the fight between him and JDS is a toss-up...Brock has the power and the wrestling, and when he connects, guys go down (look at Heath Herring), and of coures JDS has the edge in striking skill and can knock guys out, but we don't know what he's like on the ground...he trains under Nogueira in Jiu-Jitsu, but again, he hasn't faced that in competition...stop calling eachother "noobs" and being cheerleaders and look at the facts lol
