  • tears, tears, tears.... Rogers was such a righteous, respectful, warm hearted man. He took time to explain things and didn't hesitate to say: "I love you". Simple things? Not really; nowadays they have become strange, uncomfortable, almost obsolete concepts to many. He is greatly missed, but hopefully is still part of me, and a part of thousands and thousands of lives he touched throughout the years. Merci, Monsieur Rogers!

  • A little backstory: Jeff Erlanger got to appear on the show when he told his parents it was his one wish before having surgery...afterwards, he stayed in touch w/both Rogers and the prod. company, and when Rogers was inducted into the TV Academy Hall of Fame in 99, Jeff was also invited as a surprise guest, much to the surprise/delight of Rogers. Sadly, while Jeff passed away in 2007 after choking on food, I do like to think that he and his favorite TV host had a happy reunion up there. :-)

  • Bob Ross is still better.

  • One of the best kids shows in the U.S. History. You don't see shows like this anymore where they actually care about the kids. Great song.

  • Saint Fred Rogers. True.

  • This is the sweetest thing I've ever seen.Thank you, Mr. Rogers!!

  • He was saying it dose not matter if u have problems and I dose not matter if u r a wanna be he was saying 2 be ur self. With him around our world was nice but now we have rapping and boys putting there pants to low ewww and smoking u really gotta be jocking well anyways I wish it was the Same we love u and don't say u don't cauz u no u do

  • @837wolves Rap isn't evil. It's just a different style of music. I'm pretty sure there have been many great rap songs with good messages behind them. Boys putting their pants too low seems to be more of a fashion statement. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it looks pleasant either. And smoking existed before, during and after the time of Mr. Rogers. Maybe it's just me but if we followed Mr. Rogers, shouldn't you like people for who they are on the inside? Who they are by just being themselves?

  • It was Mr. Rogers I liked.
