right, 2500HDs only come with a 6.0L gas or 6.6L diesel. i have a GMC with the 6.0L. it's fast. and unless you reallly need to tow really heavy stuff for long distances, no need to get the diesel.
Why is the speedo in KMH? BTW there is def no such thing as a 5.4 chevy, and the 5.3 don't come in a 2500. Judging by the RPM and the engine sound, it is a 6.0 liter 2500, just like I have.

got a 05 2500hd 6.0 and had a 04 1500 5.3 and its a close call, haulin a trailer its hands down the 6.0

my fault, its the 5.3 vortech 2500HD. Its not a 6.0. I dont think. Hell i dont really know. I know its the 2500HD lol

its def a 6.0 because the only engines in the 08 2500 is the 6.0 gas and the 6.6 diesel

5.4? GM doesn't make 5.4 Vortec, it's probably the 6.0.

I did check, no such thing as 5.4, you must have it confused with the 5.3, but I dont think those are available on the 3/4ton trucks.
