The only game I had for the Sega Master System only because it came bundled with it. I remember the glasses and the light gun (man what a gun!). The glasses had very a long wire, obviously for sitting at longer distances from the TV. The 3D effect wasn't bad but the game itself was poor. I never really enjoyed it and was a fuss to set up the system at my living room TV. I lent my Sega to a friend of mine who later lent it to another one and when I got it back the glasses were stollen.
if memory serves me correctly u gotta hit them all to get an ending... I remember getting the perfect score back in the days with my light phaser (1 inch away) hitting pause like crazy... my first 3d game, the sms glasses was the bomb !
@FriendlyFloyd7 Yeah, wonder if this happened when the video has been recorded or if it is really like that in the game on a real machine... If it is then it's very annoying. It seems that left and right eyes views are switched every time you fire.
@LBcoyote I think you're right, it's prob related to how the video was recorded. Because one thing I remember well, is that the Master System 3D wasn't the red/blue kind of 3D, it was the alternating left frame/right frame, both identical in terms of color (and the Liquid Crystal glasses would prevent the light from reaching one of your eyes depending on the frame being displayed).
The recording must have used some sort of conversion to red/blue 3D.
The vid is short as it just seems to loop the levels. I needed kega to even be able to play with mouse as lightgun, but it doesnt support ability to save/resume when things go wrong (while recording).
That's all it takes!

Odd, every time a missile is destroyed, it flips the red and blue.

@LBcoyote If it happens ingame, it could be the glasses hardware syncs to it so its not noticed.

@simona323201
Yeah but the game itself is short. And most people really don`t want to see a loop over and over again.

Uuuh... What's up with this stupid 3-D boom?
It didn't work back then and it doesn't work now either.
