omg, your belly were so beautiful, no marks at all! Congrats! ;) My baby girl's been breech for the whole pregnancy, I'm 34+3 now and almost loosing the hope for her to move, but Ill start thinking like you, I wished for this baby for so long after having a miscarriage last year, so the important thing is that she is here with me and whatever we have to go through, we will :)
So I wanted to tell you my story. Okay so I was scheduled at 39 weeks to get induced bc my daughter was getting to big for me to have her natural, so I went to the doctor the day b4 I was suppose to get induced and she checked me I was a 4! But my contractions weren't regular to actually admit me into the hospital so I went home and in the middle of the night I got woke up bc my stomach felt strange so I just thought she was going silly in there and ignored it. I woke up to get around for
I was recommended to have a C-Section for breech but I refused it and handed it over to God and had a planned, natural vaginal breech birth.
There is lots and lots of support for vaginal breech births out there! I didn't see a doctor at all, I chose to see a Midwife instead.
I am glad you had a good experience and that you are happy with your decision but if there are any other women here who are pregnant with a breech baby and think that the only way for breech is a C-Section, it's not. :-)
@skyerorymika Thanks for sharing that. I want women to know they have options too! I really didn't feel strongly either way and was just happy to have my baby and a c-section was fine with me :)
i wish you well and hope you have a beautiful baby and i am sad that you didn't exhaust every avenue to avoid major abdominal surgery. there are so many and not things that one should do yourself - one needs to got o a qualified acupuncturist to use moxa... and an experience chiropractor who knows webster technique might have helped your baby to turn..
@samsarahmail I did try moxa and a bunch of other things! Trust me I did not want a c-section... Thank goodness I followed my instincts and stopped all of my methods, turns out my baby had developed in half my uterus ( a condition called a septate uterus) and could have never turned no matter what. My C-section experience was special to me, and I was just grateful he was born healthy. He's now 2 (sorry for the super late response) :)
Hi Im 37 weeks along and my baby is breech and I was touched by your story I started reading on everything like you did and I was worried more about the scares and I thought I was the only one who thought like that so I was relieved to hear I wasn't alone but I am still going to try a little to turn her but if not I'm not going to be stressed and focus on my baby and put it in God's hands.
@sgt300 Thanks for writing. I just posted an update video, watch it, it will calm you down. My scar healed beautifully is not even noticeable anymore. Its a thin little line and very low. I'll be posting pics soon. Good luck, you'll be fine!

Great video! I do want to say for those of you with a breech baby there are ways to turn a baby. There are exercises you can try to help turn the baby and you CAN deliver a breech baby. Most doctors won't touch it but midwives will. Also a chiropractor can help turn a baby.
hey, loved your vid, im in the same situation now...37+4 and babys still breech, this is my 4th and my 1st 2 were natural births, last year i had my son in Dec and had to have a section cos he was breech, so i was hoping for a natural birth this time but this one has been bottom 1st sincs 30 weeks!! So unless he turns inthe next week il be having another section at 39 weeks (week on Wed), fingers crossed he turns but dont think so...did u end up having a section?
Hi Lily, Been wanting to thank you for a while now. Watched your video the day my wife and I got home from the hospital (3 months ago) after an unsuccessful ECV at 37 weeks. We were feeling pretty low as our whole birth plan revolved around a natural birth and we really wanted to avoid a C-Section. Your attitude and approach were just what we needed to hear and helped a lot. Hope your baby, family and you are doing well. Our little boy is great. Thanks for the great video. All the best.
@stassy7678 Thanks so much for coming back to share that with me :) Im so happy to hear things worked out for you too. My little Liam is 8 months now and just started crawling :) Its hard to look at myself in this video cuz i look so HUGE but Im glad it can help to bring others hope.
Hello....just seen your video, I am 34 weeks and baby is still breech, like you people have said to me "it can still turn" I am not very positive about this, but to be honest, like you see it as gods plan. I had iVF, so nothing has really been that natural about this baby, however i still see it as god gift.
Was you given an option to turn the baby? Just interested to hear if you was why you decided against it.
Hope you and your boy are well xxx Many thanks xxx
@Kurlykebab Stay positive, my C-section experience was wonderful(minus the recovery) For whatever reason, I didn’t feel a strong inclination to try and turn the baby, I really believed God had his reason and I would find out why later. Well.....turns out I had an abnormal uterus and the baby developed in only one half of my uterus and it was a miracle I didn’t have a miscarriage. He was a miracle baby!!! God has a plan for you too, don’t stress. Keep me posted. I wish you the best
Thank you for this video, It restored my faith in God as we are so blessed to have this baby and I too was like you starting to panic about having a breech baby as they say its 4 % of woman have them. but God is a faithful God and I put my trust in him and will not worry any further as this is all part of his plan. thanks for setting my mind at ease.
@aannanda You have the right attitude. My baby boy is 8 months now, healthy and I feel great. Having a breech baby should be the least of your worries considering all the possible problems that can go wrong during labor. Keep me posted :)
Im glad you could relate Jen, once the baby gets here you won't care HOW you had it, you'll just be happy that you finally get to hold them :) Did you have to schedule a c-section? Boy or girl?
Thanks for making this video. I just found out last week that my baby is breech and I am 37 weeks.. I started to break down but now I am looking at it in a totally different way like you did. :o)
Hey Lily, That is one big belly. I have an idea to make your baby turn; why don't you hang upside down on the edge of the bed. Get someone to hold your legs while you go down as far as possible. This worked for Ginger when she gave birth to the Professors baby on Gillian's Island except they did it while Ginger was perched on top of the Minnow. You never know it could work for you too. The baby will think you've gone mad and will take a nose dive to get the heck out of there.Wait for your Mom
