They won't fall out as long as you secure them well, if you have fine hair or just want to be setra sure, you can add a touch of hair spray to the areas you tease to give your hair some extra grip :)

well all the extensions i can find are human wavy hair. can you straighten them? If not where can i buy cheap-ish tracked straight extensions?

You can find them for sure at beauty supply stores like Sally's. And you can staighten the wayvy ones, you would just use your straightner like you would on your own hair, and since they probably use something to keep them wavy, you may need to use hair spray to help to keep them straight, Good luck :)

Thanks for the reply, another question, I want to do an 'updo' for my daughter for a costume event, she needs the length but the hair is basicall supposed to be pulled up on top of her head with curls all around. How can I make it appear that her hair is long in back, without showing the 'tracks'? I hope that makes sense....she has shoulder length hair, would making the 'teeth up' help?

That sound like fun :) What I would do is keep about an inch to 2 inches of hair down at the nape of her neak. Divide that in two sections, and then tease the bottom section and spray it with a bit of hair spray, then clip the tract onto that part that was teased, then oncy you have the tract in place allow the other half of the hair to fall over the tract, they curl her hair or whatever you were planning on doing with the tract. the direction of the teeth won't really make a difference. :)

I didn't read all through the comments,so maybe you already answered, but what direction do the clips 'teeth' go? It looked like, when you did the 'track' in the back, the teeth went 'down' with the direction of the hair, but in the front, it appeared that you were pushing the top/clip edge of the hair UP. I'm going to be making some extensions and need to know if there are better ways to do certain pieces. Thanks.

Hi Great question, on the ones I bought already made, The clips were sewn in with the teeth facing up, I am not sure why they make them that way, to me it is more logical to have the teeth pointing down, so when I made the track that I use in the back of the video, I sewed them with the teeth down I like it best that way, I don't really have a problem with them falling out with the teeth up or down, but when the teeth are pointing up, I think it is harder to get them way you want them.

Thank you, The bangs work well, but they can be a tad tricky, you may need to add a little hairspray, to ensure they will not slip out, but it is definately nice to have the option :)

Now see I have really thin hair and i don't have the money to go get a full head of hair exstensions done, so i want to try clip on but is there anyway to make sure they stay because that would be really embarrassing if they fell out!

Sure, what you would need to do is just spry the part you tease with a bit of hair spray first, let it dry for a few seconds, and then clip it on, the hairspray should give you the added grip you will need.:)

Hey there, well the smaller ones can be bought for about 5-9$ dollars. and the mid size were about 9-15$ and the longest were about almost 30$, but if they are well taken care of they can last a long time :)
