In last years local elections i found out that the leader of the council Mr Gilbey, Tory lived on the opposite side of the city to the ward he represents, a long long way infact, knowing your constituents does'nt seem to matter these days? One or 2 Tory councilors are now convicted pedophiles and the tory councilor who represented my ward then disappeared to another city to were his business was located. elections mean squat to me and i'm not surprise that most people dont vote

Does it occur to you that demonstrators here have done themselves and the opposition parties no favours with this abusive disruption. The public chose who they want to speak for them at council meetings by Council elections. The protesting ones did not get elected and shouting slogans wont prevent a single £ of the cuts form happening

Do you also realize that most people dont bother to vote especially on a working day and dont really know the views of these so called representatives are any way.

I have to say i saw the now conservative representative for my ward helping the BNP candidate for obviously his own electoral reasons thus nullifying the electorate with left leanings and i can confirm it.

Some would argue whether or not it's of any real use voting for different parties which all exist and comply to the rules and regulations of the same corrupt system.

If you go into a shop selling only ice cream you can expect to come out with ice cream, yes. And you can even decide to have ice cream in the flavour of your choice.. but it's still ice cream. What if you don't like ice cream because it's unhealthy for you and instead want fresh strawberries? You need to find them elsewhere! ;)

You got to ask yourself why the council does not wont to be videoed though after all parliament is videod.

Allot of the public dont have the time due to work or other constraints to attend council meetings so i was infact doing them a service.

Also you will notice from their website they dont let the public know what is on the agenda for the meetings thus their can be no debate with the public.

I think UKIP is just an extreme version of the conservative party also has a few criminals as members

You will know your getting to them, when you computer gets hacked and crashed. It's happened to mine twice now. I have a computer "geek", and I mean that with respect!!, who has installed spyware that goes undetected by anyone who hacks me. I then am left with information that I can use to attempt to prosecute those who do it.

We have "precinct executives" here, and it turns out we can use this position to get some real changes in the politicians who no longer represent us. Find the way!

Surely this is a public place therefore you have EVERY right to film there... or is it really a premises belonging to a private company? You do not need permission to film in public places. He has absolutely NO right to take the camera and nor have the police.

one of the councillors actually admitted to me secretly that it was because of their conduct and they feared the public knowing about it.
