I'm African American. My hair is thicker than the woman's is - in fact, my hair is unlike anything that you will probably ever see IN YOUR LIFE. It's very long and very thick.

What they'll need when they get their hair done is not a flat iron, but a HOT COMB. A flat iron is good for just making the hair straight. Black stylists often use an oven sitting on top of the counter and it gets VERY HOT. That will get a black woman's hair really, really straight.

I also have ethnic hair. I'm bi-racial, half white/black. However, I spend hours straightening my hair. But not even minutes after I'm finished the end of my hair flip out. Sometimes they even curl. Is there any product that you would reccomend for it?
