atleast we know it's worth waiting for. i too would like a demo, but i don't awnt to rush the release date, i want them to take the time and effort to make this the next best game ever like mario bros. 3 and OoT. and the days of people commenting on mario being too easy should end because people were telling shigeru that he was making it too hard.

Me too. Because of the trailers I was overhyping Twilight Princess. I was expecting some dark themed game, with a dark themed Hyrule, well, I was expecting that everything in the game would be dark themed, which I called "revolutionair" when overhyping TP. Dunno whats so revolutionair about it now, but at least, it could have been something new for the Zelda franchise. Oh well, Zelda rules, and so does Nintendo! ^_^

I would heartily reccomend all 3 paper mario games if you can get your hands on them. The first one is available through VC, the third is a Wii game and the second is a cube game, but it shouldn't be too hard to get at a half-decent game store.

There haven't been ANY since Mario 64. Thats why this is such a big deal. Sure Mario has been in a bunch of games, but no TRUE Mario games. Sunshine doesn't count.

The only Mario platformer for consoles since Mario 64 wis Super Mario Sunshine for GCN and yes it was fun. It improved upon Mario 64 in virtually every way. However, the setting of the game is not very appealing to many.
