My family and i just returned from a cruise to the Bahamas that left from American soil and returned to American soil and it was more difficult for us to return with a U.S. issued passport than it was for the multi-national crew members to enter U.S. soil with only a employee ID, there is something totally wrong with this picture. I was born and live and love the U.S.A. why am i treated more as an illegal than someone that's not born on American soil. For a brief vacation?
I am entitled to social security and medicare because I PAID INTO IT ALL MY LIFE! It's broke because people WHO HAVE NEVER PAID INTO IT are getting checks because they have all these problems like CHRONIC Depression (like my neighbor) now her live in boy friend (who doesn't work) is trying to get it. Their no more depressed than I am about the CHUMP CHANGE I get because the money is now in the GENERAL FUND and theGOVERNMENT has been spending it for YEARS.
I know why the debt has risen as fast as the jobs have been outsourced, corpoRAT America making a few bucks more for the shareholders at the expense of the AMERICAN laborer!
Does anybody understand that part of the debt is caused by the swelling of entitlement rolls because since China joined the free trade whatever crap in 2001 America has LOST an average of 50,000 (FIFTY THOUSAND!) manufacturering jobs every month since 2001? THAT IS SIX MILLION JOBS THAT PAID TAXES ON A LIVABLE INCOME. Now people are taking what they can get, 32 hours a week at Micky D's for chump change and no insurance.
Hey, as a forward thinker - I'm wondering, is there anyway we can get our kids to start paying NOW? Good Lord, so much money is being spent on food, underwear, phone bills... can't we whip the little buggers into servitude or something?

Sure, there are people who would like to claim that, for their political ends, but there's no moral justification for it and no way to accomplish it but by threatening current-fetuses with violence when they grow older. For Heaven's sake, if we are going to do anything to fix this problem, it SHOULD NOT apply to people over 55. It's the young people's problem, so the young people should fix it.

My Kids will pay because I taught them how to pay. Work hard, get good grades, go to a college that counts, and most importantly enroll in a major that you can pay 90% of taxes of the country, Because only 10% of the country teaches their kids this skill. Also, they aren't weak:: skilled at empty hand, k-bar offense, juijitsu ground. What have you taught your kids?
I have a gold coin. I decided that I would sell it when it cleared $1500. It was just under for weeks, then it cleared it and is now worth over $1550 in less than 7 days time.
A guy at the gas pump today said to me he thought the price would reach $5. I agreed. He pinned it on the oil companies and their greed for profits
I told him "No. It's your gov't printing money." Gas isn't more expensive, your dollar is more worthless!

Do you live in America? Your kids won't. They will chose to emmigrate to a country where is doesn't cost the equivalent of 40$ per gallon of gas. THIS generation is about to pay - with hyperinflation. 5 to 10 years max.

Our Kids don't owe anything to the unconstitutional federal reserve.
The only way to take care of the debt is as follows:
1. End the fed and default on all debts owed to it.
2. Return the power of currency creation to the Government as the Constitution demands.
3. The new currency must be commodity backed, not an interest earning usury note.
4. End fractional reserve banking. Credit should only be made available to those with collateral.

I have been saying for a long time that people need to know specifically what "paying" this debt means for our children.
Do you have two cars? Your kids won't.
Do you take a vacation every year? Your kids won't.
Did you go to college? Your kids won't.
Do you have a retirement fund? Your kids will have to depend on the government for social security and both sides are trying to reduce that.
Do you plan to retire at 65? Your kids will need at least a part time job at that age.

confiscation of wealth and precious metals
kiss the mortgage interest deduction goodbye
civil unrest in large cities
eventually, shortages
And that's from now to within 2 years to go all the way down.
