@Joyous788 - The Most High, YAH is a Spirit and it's shown from Scripture that He always punished the Ysraylites when they disobeyed Him by allowing their enemies to overcome them and enslave them. Sure, it may seem extreme, but the Most High warned the Ysraylites that He would do it if they disobeyed Him and His wrath should always be expected to be extreme anyway. The nations will likewise suffer for all of their sins as well, but YAH deals with His chosen people, the Ysraylites first.
