If you want more volume you can always try overdirecting the hair foward more toward your face. That way you train it to move in that direction so when you pull it backward it adds volume. :)

my hair is super freakin thick too. but i luv it. everyone wants hair like us girl, don't be ashamed of your hair. it's beautiful. i luv my hair most times. sometimes it's not pretty and hard to tame. lol. but i luv this hair. so pretty.

i think your hair would look even cuter if you just wore a poof with a low pony tail and leave those pieces of hair uncurled( like at 5:02) ... it's really messy and cute
