i thought the performance was very well done...the video was a little harsh on the ears, but that doesn't mean that the orchestra was bad, it's just the postition of the camera
That is an assault on the sense. Every instrument in the orchestra was out of tune, and then the singer. All I can say is, do NOT give up your day jobs. Out of 10? 1.
The performances are pretty good, just hurt somewhat by the sound quality of the video, and you're a dick. It's community theater, and most local, small-scale Gilbert and Sullivan productions are in precisely that style, with small, not necessarily perfectly in-tune orchestras and comic-opera singing which isn't trying to be musically perfect. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
i love to see the haters actually have a go themselves- they might be surprised just how hard it is!
