I read some stuff on reasons they probably split and a common one was that Russell didn't like Katy's partying ways and that Katy wasn't to focused on her family life but more on her career. Also in another interview Russell and George Lopez, Russell did seem like he really wanted to start a family and settle down. While Katy doesn't quite seem ready.

Anyway...... like I said they were a cute couple. Maybe just not as perfect for each other as they thought.

ai yai yai. See, THIS is why it was always likely their marriage would fail; they thought it was about "Having fun." The point of a marriage is that you grow old and do your taxes together long AFTER it stops being "Fun." It's not about finding someone just like yourself (if 'yourself' is giddy, selfish, or otherwise unreliable). Doesn't sound like they had irreconcilable differences, they just had a mutual inability to reconcile differences. Best of luck to both of them though.
