Keep rocking Kevin. I just now found your new band. Look forward to listening to everything you all are doing. Shame EB didn't work out. They sound pretty formulaic and boring now. this singing voice gave me strength and now gives it again... had lost it for a while, "new" Evans Blue is now just a ripoff from the "old" Evans Blue (first half part of album) and the second part of the album sounds too much like a singing singer from Nickelback with a not lyrical understanding... worthless kind of shitty music!!! this is so much more energetic and build with greatness ^^
evans blue will never be the same without Kevin Matisyn. his vocals would have made them known worldwide. now they will be nothing but an underground garage band. Keep it up Parabelle. i hope to hear more great music.
I think Evans Blue's new album is indeed a solid album, but the main reason I liked the band was for the vocals. I don't like the new singer's style or just the sound of his voice. That's my opinion. I still listen to old Evans Blue, I still think the new album they put out was good (instrumentally), but I have shifted to the side of Parabelle. I do wonder how long they'll last due to all the members leaving during first tour alone.

We were actually gonna call it quits cuz those members didnt really want to help out with financing making more music. They actually left after the tour. If they had stayed we never woulda made this record.Its kinda hard when only two of us were paying for everything to get done.We're at the point now where the band supports itself but to get there we had to spend our own cash and they wouldnt.

The new Evans Blue sucks, and Dan Chandler is one of the worst rock vocalists I've heard of. Talk about a failure of an attempt to imitate Benjamin Burnley (Breaking Benjamin). Their new album is NOT EVEN 1% as awesome as "Melody" or "Pursuit".
Just went to an EB concert last night, they didn't play enough of the old stuff and didn't even do Kiss The Flag. I'm glad there is still a band I can follow for some of that artistic direction. Thank you, Kevin!

Incredible how good this sounds. I'm a huge fan guys. I loved and wore out your fist release, still haven't stopped listening to it. That being said, and please don't take this as a knock on your first release, but though it was great, it didn't have as crisp a sound as this recording. And though you may have produced it with a specific sound intended, I would pay big bucks to buy it again if it was reproduced with this crisp a sound. Hope you consider reproducing that album in the future.

Even us at Cynical Clothing are blown away by not only this video but by the lyrics that create this song. Growing up living a military life and seeing my dad gone for months at a time "Kiss the Flag" and "Kiss the Flag 2; The Widow" truly expresses the sacrifice our soldiers make when they leave their families at home to serve our country.

Even us at Cynical Clothing are blown away by not only this video but by the lyrics that create this song. Growing up living a military life and seeing my dad gone for months at a time "Kiss the Flag" and "Kiss the Flag 2; The Widow" truly expresses the sacrifice our soldiers make when they leave their families at home to serve our country.

I'm sure it'll be even worse when my boyfriend is deployed to Qatar next year.
