@RoederGaming Excuse me, my opinion has changed since then. On hats, I think the reason why everybody likes them is the same reason why people like jewlry. They're valuable, and pretty. As for the mann co store, I actually use it frequently. There are other ways to get weapons and hats, the store is just quicker and is there if you don't want to invest that much of your time into the game getting specific items. It's not buying power however, all the weapons are either alternatives or reskins.

I barley ever trade. I don't care for hats. I know a lot of the alternatives are overpowered or underpowered. I love tf2. They haven't ruined the game. The trading has not gotten ridden of the gameplay. You can ignore the store and still get all the items. Team Fortress 2 has not gotten an entire focus on hats, trading, and idling. Because millions of people still play team fortress 2. They still play the game regularly. If hats, trading, and idling were taken away everbody woul still play.

THE GAME TF2 STILL PLAYS THE SAME YOU DINGBATS! The game is still rated 92 /100 on Steam. I've played levels with good old fighting. You people are too stereotypical when it comes to TF2 anymore. TF2 went from arguably the best online shooter in 2007-2008 to the "best" hat-trading/idling/crafting simulator in 2009-2010.

Nobody cares about the real gameplay anymore, and the few that do are the people like me who loved TF2 in 2007-2008 mostly.

It's all about hats and trading now.

The sheer fact that there are TRADING SERVERS is proof enough.

The shitty hats that ruined the original art-style of the game and all of the unbalanced weapons killed it.

Compared to both I don't see a problem. I've been on a Saxton Hale server that doesn't let you trade unless you're dead because it wastes space on the server. But really, you need to watch CommFT's videos. He shows that TF2 is still a great game. But I'm sorry if you can't see TF2 as it was. I'm just trying to help.
