@bigbradford69 turbo is better if you can afford it. when i put the blower on my car flashpro wasnt even out yet. it was the best option at the time because hondata supplied the tune while everyone else was trying to tune with greddy e-manage, which is junk.

I agree with you when it comes to super>turbo, especially if its a DD car. I think turbos are great esp. for drag, but i think NA and Superchargers are best for DDs and road racing since there is less spikes and the car is more controllable in the turns because of this. My civic isnt DD, being built for road racing and im going to supercharge it as well. Its just more controllable, and you really dont need rediculous amounts of power or anything. And boosting high is just gonna break shit anyway

i race my car in solo 2 so some times i need the low end grunt. 300whp isnt even useable in 1st and second i do notthing but spin. I would hate to see what it would be like trying to launch 350hp bigger turbo (more lag) on the streets you would bog or explod you tires with wheel spin. 350hp would not be good for anything but pure slicks on a drag strip or expressway races from a 60mph roll.

yes 300 is pushing it for canyons in a fwd...s/c will get me there and thats all i need for my DD. Plus i dont have to worry about boost spikes or boost leaks. what 350+ is good for in your opinion is YOUR opinion and not the same as others. i would never buy a greddy kit...even after flashpro. so many better options now that there is tuning. everyone is replacing parts constantly on greddy kits trying to get where they want power wise. cast manifold flows like crap and cracks.

So can feal heat from your super charger comming though your fire wall? You spent 5,000.00 on you supercharger? wow you got ripped off..... By the time i bought the turbo Greddy kit 3400.00, Hondata Flash Pro695.00, bigger injectors 320.00 boost controller 100.00, sprak plugs 40.00, and had it tunned 450.00 not to mension gauges yeah 5,000.00. Making 304whp and 275tq with boost comming in at a low 3K rpms. I would take this over a 6-9K 350hp power band from a larger turbo anyday.

haha no. i can hold my hand on the charger after a hard run...it doesnt get that hot. and 5000? nooo the kit is 3500. and about 3800 for stage 2 now. yes i understand turbo is nice..but you dont understand what it was like trying to tune them before flashpro. you were lucky to make over 250 and it ran like shit. superchargers on the otherhand had reflashed tunes from hondata using the flashpro that runs great. that was my main decision on buying a s/c. the tune.

Awesome car and road your diving on! I have a 07 turbo civic si. Turbos make alot more low end trq. I now grunt out of corners at 4k (turbo hits peak boost at 3Krpms) I find myself shifting much lower in rpms than befor. I really dont need to rev the piss out of it to go fast anymore i can short shift @ 5K and ride a huge wave of trq and bang though the gears really fast that way. There are some things better about a super charger tho.. smoother power band (no lag) less heat and alot cheeper!

thats cool. i boosted before flashpro and wasnt going to deal with tuning on emanage. if i was to do it again id have a full-race kit and be making 400hp. Full boost by 3k huh...sounds like a little turbo...must be greddy kit. yea i dont have to rev the motor either but its still faster if you do. Not cheaper than greddy kit and more heat cuz no intercooler....dunno where u got those ideas.

yea i know but there is no stand alone tuning out for these cars. so about 60% or more people with turbos on these cars are having problems with their tunes. also this kit is CARB legal which is good for me in california. Also this is my DD so i dont plan on going over 300 whp (s/c will get me there just fine with a reliable tune)
