he had me there until about the 3 min mark and then my ear got confused. the harmonics in the middle of hos riffs and bridge didn't make sense.

Aside from that part. Don is a genius and I look forward to meeting him soon (pending his coming to my town................ ;) )

Those riffs sound good for me and I totaly think that it's a great source of inspiration for everyone. Don't do what poeples already heard, just create what you want and everything will sound right cause that is real inspiration. Don't play an instrument to be like everyone and play normaly, create and push the limite like Don is doing. Those harmonics are perfect :)
