I met someone who came from Las Vegas to study interior design at the UW Madison. My brother got his first film gig through a producer in Madison;

now he's a camera operator. I was accepted to and graduated from the

Vancouver Film School, specializing in 3D modelling. My sister was accepted to and graduated École supérieure de cuisine française's cuisine program in Paris.

There are more Wisconsinites I know, who are higher in the arts and most likely better educated than you.

That may be so, but that doesn't mean that WI is stronger in the arts then MN. Minnesota is extremely strong in the arts. I've looked for an arts high school in WI, found one in Milwaukee, and can barely find anything on how good the school is, and, it's only open to Milwaukee residents. There's an arts high school in MN and it's open to ALL of MN residents and it's very strong in the arts. The Twin Cities is FILLED with art around the whole city.

Also, if you go to the right college in MN to specialize in the arts, you can probably get excellent training in the arts for whatever your area like let's say acting and theater. But really, it doesn't matter what you specialized in like say the arts or 3D modeling, what matters is, was it the best you could get and how good it was compared to other schools who specialize in it.

Sorry buddy. I am from MN and graduated from UW-Madison. It is much harder to get into Madison out of highschool. Athletics is much better at UW-Madison. The campus at MAdison is amazing, U of MN is the ugliest of the big ten schools that i have visited. I still like U of MN, i am currently at Marquette, i would rather be at U of MN, but Madison is far supperior to U of MN, even my friends who attend U of M N and visit Madison agree...sorry, but its true...
