After listening to his music for a long time, then coming back to it, it is obvious that he did something that worried him, drove him. Did he in fact pledge his soul to a entity of darkness? I conjecture he did something. I don't know what but there is a touch of desperate madness in his singing and playing that can't be duplicated. To say that he sold his soul puts all of us on notice. There is a darkness and there is a light and what do we give ourselves to each and everyday....Hummm HummmHumm

Johnson was not only an awesome musician.....he was also a wonderful vocalist. He had this extremely haunting voice that gave his songs that added level of eeriness.
