  • for all you people saying this is cruelty to animals you are insane. We own our houses, our pets will obey the rules or face the consequences. We are not tying our animals down to these mats, nor putting them on the mats purposefully. If you trespass where you aren't allowed as a human, you get in trouble. By your logic, I can take a stroll through your house and not get in trouble. Get it in your heads that animals are NOT THAT SMART. They are intelligent, but not like you think. Get over it.

  • @jonbongrovie68 actually animals are smarter then we give them credit, that's why they get into trouble lol. People seem to think that their animals behave like they do when their owners are around, so not true. Their dogs might be well behaved around them, but as soon as they're gone, the dog's going to do everything it's not supposed to while the owners are away. I don't believe in harming animals, but to me, this isn't harm. I get zapped by outlets and the like all the time, its no different.

  • Who Gives A Crap if its cruel? it teaches the fucking animal not to get on top of the fucking counter and eat out of the damn cat food/bowl....

  • Dear Lord! Owners should be sentenced to the electric chair and die there a thousand times.

  • @anaclet ur a dumb bitch

  • @notshure69 I am not so sure, my dear 68 + 1. The only dumb bitches I see around here are you and the dog's owners.

  • Needless to say, our boy can be left alone with cat food whenever, even "human" food. This includes leaving the food on the ground with no one around. He knows, that even when he thinks no one is looking, mommy and daddy are ninjas and he'll get caught.

  • To be honest, I really don't care that the dog ate the cat food...my issue, is the fact that your dog jumps up where ever the hell it wants. Try training your dog because it seems pretty clear, that your dog is not trained at all. When our dog was a little puppy, he learned in a period of hours, that even though the cat's food was awesome, cat food=a pinch on the butt. Not a smack, a pinch. We didn't set him up like you did either. We simply observed him from a distance and snuck up on him

  • If i ever saw you do this i will fukn kill you stupid mother fucker red necks should not have dogs and a fucken cat to? Cats are so ugly and stupid you dont deserve to have a dog

  • you r a bitch put your self instead of him and you were hungry and want to eat and some one shockes you you r a fucking busterd mother fucker person ho does something like dis

  • The only people who think this is cruel are the ones who also think that if animals dont get their way in every situation, it is cruel to them...

  • Mm this is a great idea you are my hero. Damn dog eats the cat food all the time.

  • your a freaking idiot. i bet you feel real srtong shocking an innoceant animal

  • @animalally99 I bet you feel real strong hating on videos on youtube and still not using correct grammer.

  • Well on a whole different note this just proves that animals are smart some people think that animal are dumb the dog look and saw the horrible evil mat and found a way to avoid it but unfortunately he slipped and still got shocked too bad xD

  • LMAO. FYI, stupid people, the dog is fine. Shocking does not harm the rotten turd launchers. It merely forces them to behave.

  • Did the dog die?

  • Song ruined it.

  • lmfao. That was funny

  • from the way the dog steps around the black mat in front of the food it seems like you have tried using scat mats also lol.

  • 0:29

  • I agree with the shock. Owners whose dogs do not listen or behave are a phucking drag!!! They cause problems for / with other dogs. BE A RESPONSIBLE, ACCOUTABLE PET OWNER! Be informed, learn, pass it on to your pet! Be good to your pet - teach it to behave!

  • I am thinking of using this for my dog - who chases our ducks and has eaten two of our chickens......

  • but it didn't bark

  • Im just glad the collar wasnt on the dog. I think that would have been animal cruelty, to use these leashes on animals.. if you cant train a dog without inflicting pain on it then you shouldnt have a dog. If people take time to train their dogs properly and make sure they get their walks tools like this dont have to be used. And who would let their dog run outide without leash, if it dosnt come/stop when told? (aimed towards those that say these collars are better than being hit by a car)

  • HA HA HA HA HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA to funny

  • hahahahahahahhahahahahahaha that is HILARIOUS!!!

  • lololol

  • To save the dog from getting shocked AND from eating the cat food, wouldn't it have just been a smarter idea to simply move your couch? Or put the cat food in a different location? Or not have a dog at all? Silly humans, you amaze me.

  • @ButtplugBob Better yet, how about I buy the dog a house of it's own so it can do whatever the fuck it wants? Go jump off a cliff and save the rest of the world from your stupidity.

  • @dsteinke0101 Good idea! - this dog would certainly be better living in a house of its own than with humans with so little knowledge or imagination.

  • @dsteinke0101 how the hell is that stupid what buttplugbob said is better why the hell would you want to shock your dog anyways

  • @dsteinke0101

There is way more simple way to do it you know, no need to do those sort of things...

  • @ButtplugBob But you human too Right? Right? RIGHT! You Sir fail you stupid retard your a failure to human kind

  • @ButtplugBob I never knew dogs could type a comment to a video on youtube but apparently all that shocking have caused a mutation in the K9 genes and they are now smarter than "us humans."

  • @ButtplugBob Clearly waaayyy to sensible for these sad and silly people. You've got to feel sorry for the dog having to live with them........

  • @bestfriendsdogs I completely agree.

  • @ButtplugBob shut up and go bitch somewhere else. Im sure these people dont want to disassemble there entire living room just to make sure their dog doesnt eat the cats food. there is probably a reason why they want the cats food where it is. I love how you say "not have a dog at all" like they are expendable material items. how about you go jump off a cliff and save everyone in this world from your negative energy.

  • @ButtplugBob "Silly humans"? Since when is it SO unacceptable if a pet experiences a negative emotion during one minute?? We humans, on the other hand, don't keep complaining when we're experiencing something negative. So why should pets be treated like some sacred posession where it isn't allowed to experience something negative ONE TIME to correct its behaviour? Come on man... Even dogs aren't pussies like you.

  • well done.that will teach him

  • LMAO

  • Good video. I am thinking of buying a shock collar the beginning of next month. It's too keep my dog in the yard when he gets outside the fence. People can say it's cruel all they want, but a dog getting a little shock is better then them getting hit by a car and getting killed. If it saves the dogs life, it is a good things, and in some cases when all else has failed.A shock collar may be the only solution. We live too close to the highway and too many times now my dog has gotten out of the gate

  • dog just flips out hahahah!!!

  • @bender1011001 Sounds like fun I'm gonna try too!

  • I'm not one to yell F*CKING ANIMAL ABUSERS! yes abuse/inflicted pain was involved here but i can't help but say poor dog! he just like fell onto the arm of the chair he was so weirded out (or she) but at least it's okay and I'm glad it worked :)

  • excellent! one of mine always gets the cats food, and this is a definite thing to try!

  • Oh, dude! That fall onto the arm musta hurt! Poor pooch!!!!! I hope his insides were okay after that fall Nice idea, and awesome vid!

  • hmm what is this 'pet shocker' you speak of? is it a store bought item specially designated for the training of animals ? srry if you already stated this in a previous comment but im too lazy to read everything and im curious.

  • okay...so..your scum...got it. what was to prove? "put cat food in cupboard when leaving dog alone" really not too difficult...

  • $_$ FUNNY I MEAN IT

  • thats funny but sad!

  • cool,works on wives,girlfriends,and kids too.

  • Pure abuse! You shocked the dog because you are too stupid to either train the dog or put the cat food up where he can't reach it. The video poster needs the shock collar put on them. Do you think showing your dog getting abused is a fun video? What not show you beating it with a belt? Ahhaahaha.

  • How can you correct this dogs behavior ,when the dog is doing this mess while the owner is out? I too have no problem with this type of correction method. And i am an animal lover......getting your pants scared off is a good way to remember what NOT to do.

  • Anyone heard of a crate to avoid the whole situation.

  • hahahahha shock the piss outa that little sumbitch

  • Comment removed

  • Blah,Blah,Blah!! As a long time dog owner, I can assure you that SOMETIMES drastic measures are necessary to correct certain behaviors. I have no problem with this video or the methods involved. I can't promise anything, but I suspect that the dog isn't fuckin around with the cat food anymore. You dog whisperers and bleeding heart liberals just shouldn't own animals.

  • @pizzy1969 speaking of dog whisperer cesar as well uses the e-collar. but you couldn't have said it any better.

  • @pizzy1969 Hahaha that makes NO sense.

Oh, I know! If someone wants to adopt a dog, they have to swear that they have NOTHING against inflicting pain on them!

Because if they do, they shouldn't own animals.

    Genius.

Fuck you lazy people. Don't get a dog if you don't know how to train one. A pet is a commitment, not just a thing that should obey you to satisfy your trivial desires.

  • @pnkrk1039 Yeah, yeah. Probably cry when the sad pet commercials come on t.v. too, huh? You hypersensitive fuckin drama queen. I've had dogs for 30+ years and am known for the spectacular behavior of my dogs in ANY situation. Go eat some granola and set a gerbil free you fuckin wackadoo.

  • @pizzy1969 Or maybe I'm just smart enough to train pets without a shock collar.

You've had dogs for 30+ years? How sad that someone so old is so immature.

Just because I'm against shock collars, I "cry when the sad pet commercials come on."

I actually laughed out loud at that!

  • @pnkrk1039 Glad you can laugh at yourself "pnkrk1039". I never said I use physical punishment to teach or train my dogs, and it's pretty rare when they need any sort of hands on. You're just yet another "save the whales" crybaby with the gall to associate your beliefs with punk rock. Probably a compulsive masturbater as well, so get back to flickin' yer bean and trolling.

  • @pizzy1969 Hmm.. I guess it would be nice if people stopped killing whales... but I'm NOT a crybaby. And I don't listen to punk rock. lol. And the whole masturbation thing? Hahaha WTF?! So not true. I don't know how that's even relevant. Maybe it just reflects your own insecurities. I'm sorry :( Get some psychotherapy.

And do you even know what trolling means? You're more of a troll than I am.... making completely random, irrelevant, false accusations that has nothing to do with the video.

  • I'm a professional behaviorist with a masters in ethology and a PhD in psychology. I've been doing behavior consults for over a decade.

If punishment was absolutely necessary to alter the dog's behavior, then these people did it the correct way. HOWEVER, physical corrections or punishment are never necessary - all it takes is a little training. Lazy people resort to physical corrections and punishment, the rest of us use science and psychology!

  • @ap101885 And some just spout their opinions on the internet.

  • It's a hard call to make. No ordinary person wants to harm their pet, but its not like the dog can reason like another person. Sometimes it takes a lesson like this one to teach an animal what's ok and what's not. What's the alternative? The cat food is resonably out of the dogs reach...it's not like the dog is encouraged to each out of the dish.

  • @arcanespearman you asked a logical question..."what's the alternative to abusing your animals" here is a couple.

    1. train your dog not to jump up (shout/ NO! / slap its backside../move it and put it elsewhere when it does (in a smaller room for 10 minutes)...

    2. say "down" and give them a treat when they come down... or "Here" eventually the reward can be stopped and a pat on the head/stroke be sufficient.

    3. Don't buy a dog if you can't be bothered to take the time to train it.

  • @Maxnickleblue

Get ready to have your arguments used against you. Lets start with the first one. Train your dog not to jump up. When shouting doesn't work, slap him. I know you don't mean to say 'beat him up', but you're still suggesting using a 'violent' method all the same. At least this way the dog associates 'danger' with what he's doing and not 'master said no'. Because lets face it, how many smacks to the bottom are you gonna give him before he stops?

  • @Maxnickleblue

Next argument. Say down...give them a treat when they come. That's fine, all the dog needs to do to get a treat is jump up on the counter...wait for you to say down...jump down...and its munchy time. The dog may stop, or he may associate more to getting the treat then you wish.

And lastly, don't buy the dog if you can't train it. These people MUST have tried something reasonable...the dog understands he doesn't belong up there why else would he wait for the family to be gone?

  • @Maxnickleblue

Please don't turn around and say "would you do that to your kids?" Because the answer is no for so many reasons. Like, kids can be reasoned with better then dogs...and if they're too young to be reasoned with...why are you leaving them home alone?

My point is once again, the dog understanding is alot more basic. Not all dogs are equal, i'm sure some may have been able to learn better, but just maybe this one needed to learn it a little harder then others.

  • @arcanespearman Sounds to me like you got offended at having a little common sense thrown your way. Fortunately for me I have things to do that are much more entertaining then listening to you justify abusing animals. As for "please don't say x y z" are you aware the main cause of abuse of any form is wanting a feeling of control? which comes from feeling inadequate...which stems from assumptions... Good Luck. Maxnickleblue.

  • @Maxnickleblue

Well Max, this was a debate. When someone presents me with an argument, I counter it. Seeing as you're too busy to counter my own argument, but not busy enough to try and damage my charater, I'd have to say you're either being childish, or you're a politician. Good luck to you in all your future debates my friend.

  • That's animal abuse. Those ppl deserve at least 2 years in prison.

  • u need 2 years in prison for such a daft comment!

  • @Rick0rz, no you ppl get mad when other people bother dogs like this. Just like that dog that was thrown off a bridge and dog fighting, this is still animal abuse rather it is for play or not. These ppl need to go to prison for 2 years.

  • @can06 no they dont, there dog might be stubborn to train i would do the same thing if it was misbehaving, people who let there dogs do whatever they want are the ones that bite people and children, and if someones dog bit me i would break its neck in front of them!

  • yo mamma

  • yo dadda

  • lol you win

  • hehhe A++++++++++++++++++++++++

  • i think thats cruel

  • great teaching tool...I'm glad the cops us it too

  • Ok people.

    Animal Science/ Pre-Vet major here.

Unless the "shocker" used was something crazy like putting a wire in an electrical socket, the dog is FINE, and was not injured.

To the dog, hopefully, catfood is now associated with "HOLY S**T WTF!!!" and not "YUM"

Question for the owner: Did it work??? :-D Very well thought out, lol, and VERY smart to tape it.

  • It worked very well! The cat food no longer mysteriously disappears.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAH

  • @CeruleanKatydid I totally agree, a lot of people look as using shock collar as abusive. I use one for situations similar to this one. I have tried it on myself and the thing does not hurt at all, it just startles the dog and helps them associate bad behaviors with something negative. My petsafe shock collar is one of the greatest training tools i have. as long as the control of the collar is in the right hands animal abuse is completely out of the question.

  • All you whinney people who say poor dog, that's wrong, blah blah blah...please shut up, no body cares what your opinion of cruel is. The dog is going to be fine, and will most likely quite climbing on the counter as a results of this incident, but you'll always be a jackass!

  • Best comment Ever!!

  • i dont think its cruel if the dog wants to be a retard and do thigns then buy the collar and it will stop and behave, my dog cant go a day without almost biting my hand off so it needs one really bad

  • serioulsy i agree thank you

  • @Chris21685 What are whinney people? Are they people who like horses?

  • Yea Every Dog Is Gunna Steal Cat Food My Dog Does That Sometimes doesnt mean he should get shocked for it

  • That's exactly what should have happened. Read the comments from the person who posted this vid...SAYS IT WORKED. Only needed that one zap and it kept the dog from ever doing it again. Obviously your dog needs a good shocking....might save you some money on cat food ;) LMAO

  • You Are Sick Poor Dog

  • Chlojo2kaii8

He was stealing the cats food. Serves him right

  • that dog trusted his owner. good dogs don't judge people.

  • That was funny.. Why in the hell was he up there anyways dogs belong on the ground

  • how bout we set traos for you so you can get shocked and fall off a 50 ft building,.

  • Nothing like what happend, noob.

  • How bout you cuddy my nutz cuddybaby

  • Wow. That.s REALLY fucked up. That dog could've been seriously injured if it fell wrong.

    Not. Funny.

  • Oh, go cry to some one who cares.

  • lol because I don't wish to see an animal harmed i'm crying? I'm simply stating that its fucked up. Why not put the bowl on the ground? I'm just saying the owner should look out for the safety of the dog.

  • That's NOT funny, you idiot, sick, perverted, human.

  • You're totally wrong, that was extremely hilarious

  • XD!!!

  • it might be that your dog sleeps on the outside furniture for comfort.

  • haha, at least he wont do it again.

  • try feeding him,...

  • dont be a fucking idiot

  • good thing that sofa was very cushiony, otherwise he could of hurt himself badly, at lease this teaches him a lesson, he might do it again next 6 months.

  • FUCKING ASSHOLES GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!

  • lol, take that sucker. It's kinda cruel, but needed sometimes

  • HA my dog does the same thing, she takes ur food when ur not looking. i miss lunch because of her TT

  • Those pet shockers are awful. I operate an independent animal rescue rescue and train dogs, so I know they're not needed. I tried shocking my arm with one of those to confirm my suspicions after some idiot told me they "didn't hurt." (Ouch.) Whoever invented those ought to take a bath with one.

  • It hurts....no doubt. I wouldn't have put it there without testing it. But guess what, the one habbit we couldn't catch and correct was been corrected that very momment. Since then our dog has NEVER eaten the cat food let alone get up on the couch.

  • why would anyone with half a brain believe someone who says a shock collar designed to correct behaviour doesn't hurt? That's the point.

  • I didn't--lol-- I knew it would hurt, there was just a debate going on as to how much and whether or not those piece-of-shit shockers were "humane." They aren't, they suck, but it took me testing it out to get them to believe me. That person doesn't use the stupid shock collar anymore. In fact, I knew three people who've had them, but learned their lesson and quit using them when they realized that it's just a way to torture an innocent animal who loves and trusts you.

  • I agree when it is for barking and so on, but for boundaries that border busy roads it has its uses. It's unpleasant, but perhaps less so than a car crushing them.

  • If you know how to use on it does not hurt - it surprises them.

You should always take lessons if you feel you need this tool.

  • @woofus42 wow your a fucking idiot if the dog its the food when there gone nobody is there to teach him other wise this was a great way to get the dog to understand the cat food and counters are off limits the e-collar doesn't hurt and remind me never to get a dog from you it most likely would be out of control thank you for your time oh and that dog was fine.

  • what did he see there?????

  • what?

    read the description!

  • is you dog?

  • hahahaha but i bet he tries again

  • Me too. It only lasted a few months with one of our other dogs.
