This was a brilliant scene. You missed off the part where he sticks his head out of the window.
I think it was a clever scene because it lets the audience know what they are taking for granted, something simple as a song, imagine if you'd been locked up in an dark dystopian underground prison for years like Bruce Willis' character was - you'd really appreciate simple luxaries.

I love this moment too much... It's too beautiful though short... But if it's too long it loses its value
