@afrosamurai141 The ones that do a lot of damage have low utility, or make up for a characters weaknesses. Example of a low utility ultra: Zangief and T hawk. Example of a utility combo: Ryu ultra 1 and Dhalsim's ultra 1.

Dhalsim's combo 1 creates a moving dead zone that lets him teleport and cross you up. It can be used in a combo. It can be followed by a super.

many people underestimate Dhalsim. DO NOT DO THAT!! He is one of those characters that you have to learn how to play with. I barely won to a guy who was playing with him. He had me where he wanted almost the whole much. I was still amazed at how good he was even though I still won. Dhalsim is considered a good Street Fighter character. Some just don't understand why though.

There was one guy that beat me with Dhalsim and I was Ryu. My mouth was open when i got beat up Dhalsim. All you need to do is make your oppenet dizzy and try to trap with your stretch moves with your teleportation skills and try not to let your oppenet get close think about it you have moves that you can strech, so Dhalsim is a mid/far range character, if you can practice real hard and learn how to use strategy from Dhal, you might surprise other fighters online.

I play Dhalsim on Xbox Live, I'm decent. About 8k GP in Championship mode.

But yeah, he is pretty hard to play against if you're not used to him. I can get away with a lot of things playing people on Live because there aren't many Dhalsims.

I main Dhalsim and this move is alot, lot better than it looks at first. It basically means you control the entire screen the whole time it is active, because it is so slow, and there are loads of situations and things you can do to make it almost a guarenteed hit.

You can anti-air them back in if they try to jump it. If they fall in, link the super. You can teleport behind them and trap them inbetween you and the ultra, etc etc. I love it's slow speed, best mindgame ever.

This ultra is awesome. Sure, it's weak by itself, priority isn't even that high, but like the rest of Dhalsim's moveset, it's badass when you stack it on top of other attacks... I shit you not, yoga catastrophe + yoga inferno will hit your weak spot for MASSIVE DAMAGE.

You have to use teleport with this. The fireball moves long and slow enough that when you teleport to the otherside of him he has to jump or he is toasted!
