It seems like God does measure time,,,7 days ,,rest on the sabbath,, night and day,,,seasons winter fall spring summer,,, months,,,rotation of the earth,,,,the moon for months,,,,running around the sun once a year,,,,Jesus was 32 years old,,,time is real and God measures it,,,in heaven there is time too,,,etc etc etc
This is by far the best, most practical explanation of Open Theism. I don't see how anyone could watch this with an open mind and not get it. It's just common sense!
After having watched all thirteen parts of this series, I end it still not being full convinced of the Open view of God. While it explains the problem of evil in a way that relieves God of all responsibility for it, to me it still leave room for the possibility of "pullin' one over" on God and that thought makes me uncomfortable.
I do not consider Open Theism heresy and Greg Boyd is still my brother in Christ. While I am not fully convinced of his view I like it a lot better than Calvinism.
He is NOT denying the sovereignty of God, nor is it heresy to grapple with the question of predestination versus free will. Frankly, most Christians who talk about God's sovereignty mean that God "ordained" every thing that is and all that will be. THAT could be taken as closer to heresy in itself when you consider that this would mean that God ordained rape, murder, etc., etc., when He is not a man that He can even lie nor is even able to so much as look upon sin.

I have watched this entire presentation and I am saddened, I actually shed a tear in rage and dissapointment at the fact that a Christian can deny the Sovereignty of God. This man is teaching outright heresy, and I pray to God that He would open this man's eyes to see that what he is teaching is nonsense and blasphemous.
To strip God of his Sovereignty is to rob his of his glory, may God have mercy on all who believe this filth known as "open theism."

The analogy of the chess game is perfect there. You cant pull one over on God cause God is so intelligent, that he will always win the game.

Thank you very much for putting this on youtube! I really enjoyed listening and learning and also enjoyed questions and answer time.
I listen to sermons by Greg Boyd on the church site woodland hills and am just glad to hear in this format as well!
Blessings!
