My Devon of almost 15 yrs had to be put down on Oct 16*. He was the most faithful fun loving cat that I'd ever had. Cancer stole him, much like Cancer stealing our human pals. I rescued another Devon the exact day after, who was born 1 yr prior - Oct 15 (1 yr earlier than the passing of Sy*), I am so happy (cause he's a real affectionate & loving kitty - like no kitty I've ever known), His name is Symin, after "Syrus" my Devon & my beau's cat who passed on July 1/09, Mindy. Hence, Symin!

Sorry you lost your old boy. It will be 2 years this Christmas since we lost our old girl (Pris). Pleased that your new kitty has filled some of the hole that he left and cheered you up a bit. They are such a lot of company and you just have to laugh at their antics :o)

hah so cute. i have a devon as well and he is jsut the same. i have never known a cat to be so playful. he fetches his toys like a dog and he loves tackling us. he'll hide around the corner and then pounce on your leg and you have to fall over and pretend you dead. he loves it. such great cats. wouldnt recommend another breed.

Dottie is just over 1 year old now and she hasn't calmed down at all. I think anyone one who needs cheering up should definitely get a Devon :)

I have a Cornish Rex! They look just like Devon Rexes! That was a great video! I made some of my cat, you can watch them. 5/5!

Well, it depends on the cat, because cats tend to think differently. My cat is very naughty, and gets into all sorts of trouble. I say it makes me mad, but, inside, I love it!
