If BMW makes the Z2, I can almost guarantee it won't be FWD. BMW (Luckily enough) thinks that FWD is an invention developed by the devil and should be avoided at all costs. They have notoriously steered away from making FWD cars throughout their life-time, and I really really hope they'll keep it that way.

The Hyundai Voloster rally car was built by Rhys Millen Racing and is to compete in rallycross. It's not built to S2000 spec since those cars don't have turbos.
Anything FWD ≠ Competition for the MX-5. Even if it were RWD, we all know it would be something like $35k base just because of the roundel on the hood. And one of the (many) great things about the MX-5 is the fact that it is highly affordable. So BMW, just don't even bother. Seriously.

I'm from China. Sad to say, I don't think these three hosts can pull off the concept of "top gear". These three people probably didn't have a chance to sit in a car before they hit their 20. not to mention they don't have any perceptions on a wide range of cars as professional journalists. I would say any type of consumer level auto program is welcome, and probably better. But using cars as entertaining toys is not something they can do right now.

I am pretty sure I saw a Veloster on the road the other night here in south florida. Three Hyudais traveling super close to each other, with the Veloster in the middle. Actually didn't look too bad. Kudos to Hyundai for continuing to step up their game. Still don't want one though... maybe in 10 years when we see how the build quality and reliability hold up.

The Hyundai Voloster rally car was built by Rhys Millen Racing and is to compete in rallycross. It's not built to S2000 spec since those cars don't have turbos.

Anything FWD ≠ Competition for the MX-5. Even if it were RWD, we all know it would be something like $35k base just because of the roundel on the hood. And one of the (many) great things about the MX-5 is the fact that it is highly affordable. So BMW, just don't even bother. Seriously.

Everyone knew what it was BEFORE they even clicked play, I mean seriously, thats a whole load of FAIL! The turbo joke was pretty good, but it just simply couldnt get above the fail-ness of the title/opening combo.

Wtf is going on with the Top Gear studio?!?! I mean it was bad enough that they gave the rights to us Americans because it's just awful, but now they got China doing it to?? They should just leave the original British version and play that in America because that show is actually funny and interesting to watch, and even though they have the American version playing on my tv, i still am watching the British version on BBC. On a side note hope you get better Kubica! from all us Polaks in Illinois!

I'm from China. Sad to say, I don't think these three hosts can pull off the concept of "top gear". These three people probably didn't have a chance to sit in a car before they hit their 20. not to mention they don't have any perceptions on a wide range of cars as professional journalists. I would say any type of consumer level auto program is welcome, and probably better. But using cars as entertaining toys is not something they can do right now.

funny story
yesterday, I checked out the new chrysler 200 and drove around the couple blocks.
really for being in place to price at 27 thousand, truly has to fill in what your getting starting with the engine being covered with FAT " I MEAN FAT "black plastic cover.
moving along inside, fast notes; new dash upgrade with blue light, GPS with entertainment looks gloss black, and last the seats KIA has better then that!
better of getting a Benz c230 or Bmw 325i or wait even the Chevrolet Malibu.

I am pretty sure I saw a Veloster on the road the other night here in south florida. Three Hyudais traveling super close to each other, with the Veloster in the middle. Actually didn't look too bad. Kudos to Hyundai for continuing to step up their game. Still don't want one though... maybe in 10 years when we see how the build quality and reliability hold up.

Top Gear China?
Seems like a conflict of interests, don't you think? The Chinese state owns the show, and (a 50% stake in or outright) nearly every automobile manufacturer in the country.
Something tells me the hosts won't have anything bad to say about the newest Foton or Huali, but will find plenty of faults in privately built vehicles from companies like Great Wall and Lifan.
