Cyndi Lauper's voice and music with Blue Angel would've been perfect for the 'Grease' soundtrack. Although, the group formed sometime in '78, their hits didn't get released until 1980.
I just downloaded this LP from iTunes.. with it I've finished to download all her albums... It's such a shame the great singer and woman didn't get the deserved success... I'm fifteen but she is like my idol, great personality, such a lovely human being...
Kinda hard to believe Cyndi was around my age (27/28) when she did this. Too bad she had to make it as a solo artist after this because I thought her work with Blue Angel was on point and could've meant bigger things for them. Talent was clearly there, that's for sure...
