  • From 2007 so I don't think it's fake

  • I am from Australia, I just heard "The Hum" last night. I ruled out all possible sources, including electronic devices. I still have no idea where it was coming from but it sounds a lot like that simulation in this video.

  • Sounds like 50hz and 60hz beating against each other, as in East and West Hemisphere power system's frequencies combining in the Earth.

  • nwo haarp its all planned, peace, love, light

  • I have been trying to tell people about HAARP for a long time. Every time I do, something weird happens to prevent it.

  • reporter is fuckin hawt

  • A village in Durham is the latest place to report a strange vibrating noise - known as "the hum". Why is it such a mystery?

  • It's gotta be HAARP. If you don't know what this is, please do research. It's very important.

  • i believe there are 2 types of hum the one cause by government weapon haarp etc.. and the one inside your head because the hum i hear comes from inside my head and i can hear it whenever i want that shows me it's not government testing.

  • What's an oothquake? bwahahaha

  • Just have sound engineer set up multipule parabolic microphones around the city and then rotate them until signal peaks on all of them. Once that is done the source of the problem will be located where the lines intersect. Look up Feraliminal Lycanthropizer on the internet. Mystery solved. Now just locate and shut it down.

  • @ncscientist Measuring such low levels of sound (long wavelengths) would mean parabolic dishes the size of Jodrell Bank! most of the time the Hum is burried in in-band noise that the mics pic up. need some fancy signal processing.

  • @sorova Do they want to get to the bottom of it or not?

  • @sorova The gear is out there. The software I can get for free. Just have an inline BP filter for that freq and process the sig. Parabolics do not need to be that big, the concussive force of the wave should still register with a good transducer. Three stations could be created comprising of three networked laptops, each with signal analysis software installed and three parabolic units setup around the town. Then the data can be plotted with an overlay on Google Earth. This would be fun.

  • @sorova This can all be done with COTS gear scrounged up from anyone's home except for high quality parabolics. I can think of a few things lasying around the house that could be used.

  • Generated by H.A.A.R.P silent electromagnetic scalar-weapons all over the world !

More here allinformierendes.de under the rubrik "VIDEO-AUFNAHMEN-DOKUS"

I'am living in south east germany/bavaria and before in Austria/Vienna and I heare the "taos hum" since 22.sept.2002, I was early-retired with 35 years. No sleep in the nights, with haarp the US-administration manipulate the weather an all life over the world, it called mind control !

  • Sounds exactly like what I hear sometimes. Is it because I'm paying too much attention to the quiet that I suddenly notice a noise that I hadn't before? Not sure... But it certainly is very distracting and uncomfortable.

  • its funny how ozzies n NZ ers say hum .... him!!!

  • at time index 02:00 all I could see were Pippas tits

  • funny how the second anything strange is found, people say "It's the "government".

  • There's a video here on youtube called The music of the Dunes by New Scientist journalists. It is very similar to the hum I hear either when I'm in Bristol or near the Lake District.

A close friend watched this video and told me she used to hear a very similar sound when she lived near the Black Mountains in Wales. Interestingly there are no sand dunes near these places.

  • @humalam They could be weapons being tested. Google "Tesla Scalar Weapons" and you will see hundreds of informative links and also check out the Youtube video called "Tesla Scalar Waves"

  • Also, once you notice it, you understand why you've been feeling extremely uneasy. It is impossible to relax while this is going on. I once heard it stop. The relief was tremendous.

  • NO, it is not like a diesel engine. Much lower, much smoother. Bum, bum, bum de bum, bum de bum bum bum ... No, not a "sewage pump." Not earthquakes!! It goes on and on and on and on. And, it's percussive. I can hear it in my car at night when I come home and turn off the engine. Then I get out, and there's nothing. I go into my house and it's there again. Not heartbeat. It's definitely "outside" somewhere. Under the earth? In the air? Amplified by houses and cars ... inaudible outside.

  • Its exists. I've heard it in Ga. (USA) for 2 years now. What is it? I've heard everything from 1. invisible hoovering ufo's. 2. underground military tunnel equipment. 3. terrorists digging their way to gas lines. 3. digital data transmission (as opposed to analog). 4. haarp. 5.magma flow disruptions caused by unknown gravitational fx. Its most noticable at night when things are quiet. I used to think it was distant train diesel engines idling, but its clearly not that. Who knows.?

  • The sound is an alien UFO pissing us off

Just wait until the men in black kick their ass!

  • Play the vuvuzela during parts in this video for some lol's

  • I "hear" it at night and "coming" through my left ear only...

  • i think australians kick ass.

  • Misconception, this hum isn't heard, it's felt. it's not a sound, it's a frequency resonance.

  • I hear it, since Dec '08 in Florida.

Took me almost 11 months to find source on very quiet early morning.

Cell towers! I was up close and the sound was coming from the top. (And not even the closest ones to my house!) 2 miles away

Sometimes constant, sometimes oscillates, sometimes a weird "Rumm.....Rumm....Rumm".

But the hum here in Florida is definitely cell towers, sounds like a truck running sometimes, and louder INSIDE the house than outside.

Can anyone else tell the direction of the sound?

  • Scientists now say the hum is caused by ocean waves bouncing off of the sea floor.

Personally, I never heard the hum until I started taking ginko herbal supplements. When I stop eating ginko, the ability to hear the sound goes away.

The irony is ginko is used by some people to reduce tinnitus.

  • thats it

  • i do hear it once in a while, and i though it was the sound that energy anywhere produced......weird!!

  • I am pretty sure the cause is some kind of military activity going on under the hill my bungalow is on, I do live in a part of Uk where it would be likely to be that. Even so .....and bearing in mind I am a Granny who may be able to fish and hunt and do a service on my car and re format my pc etc but oscilloscopes are not something I have had to figure out lol. I am gonna get in touch with a college or something to see if I can get someone to measure it.

  • you need to get someone with a seizometer, because if theres something shaking the hill earthquake monitors would have measured it bearing in mind they can measure footsteps. an oscilloscope is useless unless you have something to make a waveform for it to display.

  • Thanks have been in touch with envoiromental health public protection dept'. They are going to set up some low frequency noise equipment in my spare bedroom......watch this space!!!!! They say a vibration will cause a low frequency noise.....hope they are right. Can't wait to find out what it is and stop it.

  • Comment removed

  • actually no i did mean a seizometer and no actually i wasnt talking to you nevermind arguing

  • Excellent BB55!! I hope they got some answers for you !!! It would be good to see what they come up with !!!

  • Hi dividebyN, They didn't come up with any answers for me at all. And infact one of their workers came out when the vibration was actually happenng and she said she couldn't feel it....She did have high heel shoes on but somehow I don't think that would have stopped the vibration everyone else was feeling in my house. I have since discovered it is felt al around the area where I live...even outside the Tesco store....0.8 miles from my house. It is a bunker, I am sure. LAND is being located here.

  • 5 months before I heard the hum, a weird vibration jolted me out of my sleep, over and over and over.

Still happens ocassionally, but there is definitely more noise than vibration, sometimes painful noise that hurts my ears, very low frequency!

I think that the vibration here is caused by the previously mentioned cell towers emitting slightly different frequencies. (read my other post on this video)

  • MiKikalwaShizaru, I am pretty sure now that what I am feeling and hearing is some type of underground activity. I know it sounds crazy but it really feels like some kind of power generation going on underground. I have contacted everybody I can think of and nobody can help...except a company that would charge me £800 to do tests. Someone who researches underground hidden bases sent me an Ariel photograph with something on it that looks like an entrance to a large bunker, I am still puzzled.

  • It's funny that you mention that you think it is underground, because I had a similar experience in 2001, what I can only describe as vibration, an extended drum solo alternating with a weird whooshing sound, laying awake in bed I thought maybe someone was digging a deep tunnel, then I thought it was a neighbor practicing drums, I followed the sound on foot, but it turned out it was very far away at an power plant (or behind it at an air force base) 10 miles away! I could tell the direction too!

  • Hi, yes, to me this feels like generators below the ground and when it's happening you can still feel it a mile away from my house. I truly believe it's an underground bunker because of where I live....Army Top brass everywhere.

I lay in my bed and can feel it making my bed vibrate....freaky and not pleasant. It would cost me £800 to get a firm out to monitor and detect it.......no chance! lol.

  • Yeah, my current intractable "hum" problem, it is literally hurting my ears right now here in Central Florida in the middle of the night, not too far away from Central Command (AKA MacDill AFB) Is the signal I'm hearing/feeling all over the place (like 3G) or is it something "special" that the military has cooked up?? It is definitely coming from local towers, I have heard/felt it on the other side of town (Tampa) south and north too, maybe I am just one of the VERY unlucky few. It's awful. :-(

  • MiKikaIwaShizaru, The one thing that makes me feel better is that when I have pointed this out to people who have lived here for years 99% of them say "Oh my God how come I have never noticed that before, what is it?" I have even gone out with friends and the vibration is more pronounced on drain covers! I can feel it through my Lawn it is so obvious. At least as others feel it to, I know it's not imagined on my part...that helps.

  • I have lived where I am for a year and a half and I have trouble sleeping at night so am often awake late. Around 3 in the morning, not every night but most nights there is a distinct vibration coming up through the floor...even outside on the patio. I feel it through my feet and so do other people when they are here. I can also feel it laying in my bed. There IS some kind of tunnel complex under my home....I do live in a military area. It feels like power generation hum of some sort. Freaky.

  • I am interested in finding a cause of this, try and record it if you can and put it up here. You say you can 'feel' it, THATS freaky!!!!! To capture a visual waveform of the signal would be great, an oscilloscope, some co-axial cable and a piezo transducer would do the trick. What puzzles me is, why has no-one else tried to capture it yet. The fact it is L.F. is against being able to record it as audio due to response and bandwidth between mic's and equipment etc....

  • dividebyN Don't know if the last comment I made to you went on as a reply but it's on there somewhere lol

  • i absolutely have been hearing and also feeling this (sometimes) too. i hear it late at night. sometimes it can be felt mostly in my head but also in other places. it is bizarre and irritating. i only hear it in one place. i swear it's some sick joke or experiment.

  • I reckon INFRASOUND is a 'viable' cause for this. The resonance of the planet is constantly changing due to tectonic activity, a change in plate geometry providing 'focus' causing it to localise in 'hot spots', thus, some hear it, others don't!!! The 56hz bit is puzzling because I reckon MOST people can hear things like hair clippers, the 3-5s pulse when you switch on the microwave, are all 50hz., .If its around 56hz it's nearer 60 than 50 so it's source could be induced from usa somewhere...

  • Part 3:

    The Devils Organ

there's two satellite frequencies that i know

one is slightly higher, the other very low

the tones fluctuate between themselves leaving with a hum

it makes me not feel so good when it vibrates my ear drums

I've heard this noise for five years now it has made me see

that these satellite frequencies are not here for the good of humanity

  • Part 2:

    The Devils Organ

how can we make them go away

it's frightening to think theyre here to stay

with us down here and them up there

their advantage is their frequency; its everywhere

I've found nowhere in this country to hide

way out in the bush, the mountains or inside

  • Part 1

    The Devils Organ

The Devils organ plays its tunes to us

it plays its song from dawn to dusk

all through the night they don't care

what are they doing to us from up there

the animals, the birds, things in the sea

we don't wont to hear these frequencies

  • I have written a poem on my experiences over the last 5 years with hearing 'The Hum'

  • The 'hums' are the govts digging with their tunnel-boring machines and the chemtrails are to hide our tenth planet thats about to wreak havoc on earth. That is why they both are global.

This is how you can know that armageddon is right now and America is the target. It will be on 10-10-09.

All the news where Russia has threatened to nuke us over Iran for 2 years is in this document:

    (3w) . docstoc . com/docs/6519605/WarNews

  • Haha anyone see this on 'Have I got news for you'? Paul Merton was hilarious...

  • Here in GA, it started up tonight around midnight. Or maybe it just got much louder . Louder than usual.

  • Not what it sounds like! way lower! I've been hearing it 23 miles E of Pittsburgh, PA for years now. Usually I'm the only one, but when it's loud, others in house can hear it sometimes. Thought it had to do with 30 inch underground high pressure gas line 1/2 mile away... Rural area. Not magma, I'm at 1280 ft. Whatever it is, it's MADDENING! Perhaps the sound is attracting the UFOs in Westmoreland County here--Popular Mechanics reported as most UFO sightings in the country. We've seen alot.

  • its alien re fuelling center, there chargin up the spaceship, that's the humm duhh its obvious

  • Its all the tunnel boring machines preparing for Nibiru. This is how you can know Armageddon is about to happen to us on 10-10-09 like the Bible says. Oh yea, and Russia has only been threatening to nuke us now for two years while they put the hardware in place to do it.

  • I also hear the hum. For about a year now. If you live near Mountain View, CA please contact me I would like to find out if we hear the same noise so I can rule out tinnitus!

  • I hear it but aren't anywhere near windmills, trains, traffic, factories, businesses, farmers. Just way out in the boonies. And it aint just in my head because my husband and I hear it and don't hear it, at the same exact times.

  • i live in the netherlands

i hear the same fucking shite

  • One particular place you'll hear the Auckland hum on pretty much every visit (provided it's not windy or raining) is at 36 41'56.88"S, 174 33'22.20"E

Go there, preferably between midnight and 4am, and you'll hear it. Sometimes it's so loud you have to get back in your car to avoid getting a headache.

  • Many people are going to be distraught when they hear this, but the hum you're hearing is that of an alien craft. It vibrates so as to reduce the mass frequency of it's body to 0 so that it becomes as light as a photon and can travel freely. I know this sounds ridiculous, but it is the truth. Check out some of my videos in my favs.

  • Claiming that as the truth is a bold statement to make. Prove it...

  • a craft is fucking right. people do hear this most of the time from the earth or sky but there is more to it. 1. I spotted or heard a triangle craft when walking my dog at night. it flew over slow like it wasn't hiding just cruising and created the same noise. 2. about a month later the noise flew right over are house it seemed like in the early morning. the only reason i now what it was is because I heard it previously with my dog. THE SOUND SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!!! NOT MY DOG THOUGH

  • Hear it about 150-200 times a year in NJ. It does not sound exactly like the simulation in the video, but it's definitely close. On days I can hear it, it starts at about 11 PM and usually goes to about 10 or 11 AM the next morning. It's usually 12 hours.

My own personal theory is underground generators that are powering underground military bases.

  • Lol u commented like three times so far on these taos hum videos.

  • I here it in Florida. Same hum, i ve heard it for years now

  • let me help you towards the truth of the hum

  • its true that sound is accurate ive heard it before too.problem with this theory is i dont live near auckland .

there is something else i notice about it that early morning

at about 5.00 till about 5.45 ... but im reluctant to discuss it .. i just want the truth im not interested in anything else.

i discovered so much ..and learned so many things after that day ..so many strange things .has any one else experinced slow time yet or is it just me..

  • 24/7 here

  • San Jose, CA.

I hear it every night if I wake up from about 3AM to 6AM, for at least the last 3 months.

Two or three different tones, changing pitch slightly every 0.5-2 seconds. More or less constant volume.

Never pausing for the entire 2-3 hours, and starting every night at roughly the same time (~3AM PST).

    Kind of like:

    mmmmmmMMMMMMMMMmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmMMM

The hum is like what has been reported in Melbourn AU, Auckland NZ, Suffolk UK

At first I thought it was a subwoofer.

  • I think it is the US Navy with the ultra intense sound generators they are putting around the world under the sea for submarine communication/radar.

  • i also heard this over Bristol (England)

    "bristol hum"

    its weired

  • In the Spring of this year, a blasting company came in and starting ripping-down a large out-crop about a km off of the back on my house.

Since then, I've heard this droning sound (yep, just like they say: a diesel in one's yard) that keeps me from sleep or any kind of work that requires concentration (er, I guess that would be any kind of work).

I never wanted to be an "x-file", but my wife can't hear it, nor can anyone else. Well, except those other people around the world.

  • Look at the strings on a piano..they are steel strings..the longer the string the lower the frequency. A 100 foot steel windmill blade will vibrate just like a 100 ft steel string will.

Vibration is measured in hertz.. vibration is sound... speed is not sound. The strings on a piano do not travel any distance...speed is measured in meters per hr... how many meters did the piano string move in an hr....zero... the string has no speed because it is not moving..it is vibrating, big difference.

  • 12 years have gone by and the people are still so stupid. You can't fight the energy companies..they will never tell you the truth! If they told you the truth then they would have to shut down the wind farm...and that's not going to happen..they will bribe the scientists first to keep the wind farm running.

    Wake up you morons!

This has already been fully investigated and covered up.

  • So, since it's already been covered up, we shouldn't all wonder what the Ef is causing it?

  • @omegafile

Stop calling people "stupid fucking morons." If you can't be civil, GET OUT.

  • Underground facility of aliens or nether civilizations?

  • It appears that hearing the sound over an extended period of time really does drive some people crazy!

  • Deite pws tin lene sto 2:00. Pippa hehehehe!!!

  • mind control my niggas!

  • hell yeah its the germans bro!

  • i wish my girlfriend hummed like that.

  • hahahahahahahahahaha

  • The Awhitu wind farm, at Waiuku near Auckland. This is the source of the irritating sound.

If you don't like the sound then move to another town away from the windmills.

Scientists are not smart enough to point this out to people. They will take the bribe to cover up the facts and the real truth. Have you ever heard a turbo prop airplane?,,it's the same sound.

  • lol, they dont spin fast enough noob...

  • Speed has nothing to do with vibration. You are hearing a frequency from 56 to 60 hertz. These are large windmill blades vibrating at 56 hertz..and this is a low frequency and they travel far. Foghorns do the same thing..they vibrate at low frequencies and the sound travels far. The blades don't even have to spin for the sound to travel..they only need to vibrate...and the sound will travel.

    Kaylin..you are brain dead!

  • Speed has nothing to do with Vibration? you are insane.. What is vibration other than movment? and what does movement involve? you dont know jack shit mate...

  • I have 7 years of university in physics and the sciences you moron. I was already there and was paid to investigate this and I was told to keep quiet.

I know more than you, and you are a moron.

And you really are a moron... a speaker vibrates but does not move. Speed and vibration are not the same... light moves very fast.. but can you hear it? no! dumb ass.

You are all stupid fucking morons! Can you hear speed? ,,,not!

  • Seven years of university and this is your comeback?

    Yeah, likely.

  • I've been living here for four years with a foghorn in hearing distance. I have never heard this hum before they blasted around here. Check out my other post.

  • There are 18 windmills upwind with 3 blades each and these blades are 100 ft long... so you have 56 windmill blades that are 100 feet long vibrating upwind. This is the same as putting 56 - 100 foot speakers on the same site and pumping out 56 hertz through the speakers.

By the way the blades are 100 ft long but the diameter of the whole windmills are 200 ft. So in reality you have 18 - 200 ft diameter low frequency speakers on the site. What do you think sound is? It's a vibration.

  • correction... 19 windmills.... 57- 100 ft blades vibrating in the wind.... the equivalent of 57 100 ft diameter speakers.

  • I guarantee that this sound is caused by windmills.

I can also guarantee that scientists are dumb.

  • D'oh! "scientists are dumb"

Sooooo, what does that make you?

There are no windmill farms around my abode.

    Check my other posts.

  • The Awhitu wind farm, at Waiuku near Auckland..... BINGO!

  • I'm on the other side of the planet and the other end of the equator. I doubt it's that, "mate."

  • Actually, these people live on the north shore of Auckland, which is the northern most part of the city. Awhitu is far to the south of Auckland. That means that People in South, East, and west Auckland should hear it more than these people.

  • nothing mysterious, its just the biggest weapon of the illuminates freemasons ,its the millitary.

i think the sound comes from stations like HAARP in gakona Alaska.
