Fact is San Remo Manual applies and the Gaza is under a legal blockade. . It is in fact a compilation of all the previous laws governing armed conflict between territories. It was developed because the previous laws were outdated including the Geneva convention. Those laws dealt with wars like WW2.

Maritime law for eg deals with a situation where you youself would attack a commercial vessel to steal it's cargo. SRM deals with a situation where say Germany would attack a vessel to steal it's cargo.
Two distinct laws. One is Piracy the other maybe a breach of SRM international law. If Germany attacks to stop the vessel from breaching a legal blockade it is a legal action based on certain conditions spelled out in SRM.

Fact is San Remo Manual applies and the Gaza is under a legal blockade. . It is in fact a compilation of all the previous laws governing armed conflict between territories. It was developed because the previous laws were outdated including the Geneva convention. Those laws dealt with wars like WW2.

If they want to claim that they are at war then they have to treat every Hamas prisoner as a POW, which they do not as they believe they are not at war.
Israeli apologists love to quote international law when it suits them but ignore it at all other times.San Remo relates to legal practice in war and as can be seen there is no war.
