I doubt that you could've taken one full day of the bitter cold and horrific fighting of the battle in Stalingrad. Perhaps you are envious of Zaitsev's bravery and superb performance as a soldier and sniper. You cannot successfully accomplish anything by insulting a man of Zaitsev's caliber.

@fangthefeared Many of our troops have served three or four tours in Iraq and/or Afghanistan and the combat troops have had to serve under very demanding conditions, as have the Brits. Regardless of any controversy concerning the U.S. government committing our troops to these two lands, the troops are dedicated to accomplishing their mission. Don't confuse the spoiled, relatively small soft element that does exist in our country with the great majority of Americans.

@PHG37VA When I was in the army in the Franch SAS of 1er RPIMa, we had elite regiments from other countries coming over and training with us, and jumping with our small "ww2 like" parachutes, the US (navy seals) faces ranged from green to yellow to blue in the plane, and they were awful in every exercise. The brits, the Aussies are tough, no problem with that, but the US are not up to other countries elite tropper standards. Nothing against you guys really, but USA is ahead in softness.

@OGstreetracer No offence but he is partially right at some point other countries special forces have trained american forces for example after the vietnam war american navy seals were sent to be trained by the Australian SASR in Guerilla warfare and basically the rest of wat they did was just war games. But Ever Since world war 1 Australian military forces have been ranked as the bast shock troopers in the world for their art in the battle of the Somme.

@xXCoUnTeRxStRiKeXx 7 years??? Häyhä fought for 102 days only, he was injured and never served after that. The war between Finland and the Soviet Union "only" lasted for 5 years. And yes they where confirmed kills. Maybe you should revise your sources.

@baldurus1 Vasily was far from the guy that killed the most people but that doesnt make him worse. He gave the people hope, he killed a lot of officers which removed hope from the regular nazi soldiers and häyhä didnt use the scope because he prefered closer combat :)
