Those actually look like actual contrails. Notice the wingspan gap from the tail of the engine to the start of the trail. This is indicative of a good-ole-fashion contrail. Chemtrails typically appear immediately. Also, the trail seems to be dissipating at a contrail rate.

How odd, I've never had a blanket of cloud cover held together by polymer fibres descend onto my head. I can only assume that, uh, it doesn't actually happen? The reason that ordinary contrails sometimes spread out across the sky is that the atmosphere is somewhat moist up there and ice crystals in the contrail form nuclei for more water to condense out of the air, forming a spreading cirrus cloud.
