yes but angel tales is a translation form tensi no shippo.

i know some japanese and i can tell you 天使 (tenshi) means angel and しっぽ (ship-po) means tail/tails as in a story.

I'm pretty sure that it's tail as in the part of body, like... a tail, and so the anime's most official-ish english title IS actually Angel's Tail...

The anime is mostly about the characters, as so many harem animes are. But this one had a bit of a backstory with the Guardian Beasts... It's a shame they never finished it. T_T

Hmm, I personally loved both seasons, though season one was better for obvious reasons (the first season in almost ANY anime is better! XD). But it's still a great season imo, and if you really liked the characters and the series concept/premise, you'll still love season two. ^_^

I'll be moving to Japan in a couple of years on my own, so if I can find them, I'll definitely by buying the DVD collection. =3

Best memories I have: Kurumi saying 'nano', this song, the ending song, the first ep. ^_^

Gah, I started remiscing again! This was a great anime! =3

Anyways, I've only been watching several animes recently. Cardcaptor Sakura I finished before I found Tenshi no Shippo. Then I found xxxHolic, another awesome CLAMP anime. Then I was suggested Sister Princess if I liked Tenshi no Shippo, and I ended up liking it too. ^_^

Then I've watched things on the other side of the coin: School Days, Death Note, etc. The former is creepy. I like the game's best ending better. ^^;

I first saw CCS in English way back, and I thought the concept was awesome, but after I watched the Japanese version, I knew which one was superior. X3 I'm also reading the manga for xxxHolic cause of it's crossover with CCS and TRC. =D

I've got the games of Sister Princess too (two of the PSX ones) and I can't read them either. XD School Days I watched, but the ending in the anime was sad. I've got the game and I'm hoping to recreate the 'perfect' ending as it should've been. ^-^

Yeah, CCS in English was badly censored and skipped certain episodes of the Japanese version, but I got my fill of the Japanese version a couple years back and finished recently. ^_^

xxxHolic for the win! >3 And lol, I've got the emulator too, though I have the first Sister Princess on CD. Then I saved the Re Pure iso before my CD for it was too scratched. T_T

Well...Tenshi no Shippo doesn't mean "Angels with tails" it means "Angels Tails" or "Angels Tail"...The particle "no" is for possession...that mean that the angel has tail... and don't be so mean...it's not like everyone can understand japanese, this goes for all not just for ya. ^.^
