@disturbedspike Yes, as marketable as my last dump. Correct. That is why he is still an indy no name jabrone flip flopping infront of 20 people for the past 20 years.
Great Tribute, one of the best so far. But i wouldnt consider Quackenbush as one of the greatest to ever lived. But still one of the best Indy Workers today.
there are few wrestlers that i can say that has every skill you can have to be a wrestler in any promotion, from mic skills, to technical skills, to high-flying, to even cutting great ass promos, he's great as a face, i never saw him as a heel but he'll probally be good at that too, Mike Quackenbush is my definition of a "thinking man's" wrestler he looks like astro-boy, but has hall of fame skills in again any promotion, he's one of two wrestlers that i truly respect (the other is samoa joe)
Yeah..but nobody needs Mic-skills and cutting Promo. Puro Workers dont have mic-skills either, and they dont cut a promo. Ringwork is what its all about. The only promotion you need really good Mic-skills and you need to be good at cutting Promos is WWE. WWE is entertaining, not Wrestling anymore. Japan is Pro-Wrestling, and the best Wrestling of all time.
Though what gets me & alot of others excited & more interested in a match is the build up,I feel like when it all gets put together through a good storyline into a great match its all the better. But Japan does have great wrestling no doubt.
So once again, thank you so much for this video, I'm not trying to exagerate, but its material like this that truly has helped give my life some direction, so this and many others like it, means a lot to me. So I say this now and for once in my life I TRULY feel as though i will bleed for my cause, my dream in this industry, a dream that i will fight with all I have for, is to personally face off against the Legend Mike Quackenbush, and for that I will die a happy man. Thank you.
Never again will I doubt the raw emotion and artistic potential of the sport that is shit on by so many. I found nearly everyday as a wrestling fan i was shit on for what I loved. through personal searching adn the many great moments of athletes such as Mike Quackenbush, Pac, Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Josh Harter, and countless others I simply lack the room to mention, I have decided to give myself fully to my dream. I just felt I needed to express myself to a group of sensible individuals.
Hello, and allow me to first say thank you; I consider this to be easily one of the best tributes on youtube, period. As a matter of fact if I may take that one step further, you have truly inspired, through mikes great works of course. I wanted to wreslte since I was just a kid, but since the death of chris benoit, I truly have lost my zest for this art. Never again. Mike Quackenbush has been my favourite for some time now, He's reintroduced me to a side of wrestling that I had nearly forgoten
I should also mention that this is one of the best MVs I have seen on youtube period, and that is without bias that it is about my favorite wrestler. The song choice is perfect, and the voice-over in the beginning gives me chills whenever I hear it. You also have footage of some of his earliest work, which is a wonderful contrast to the things he is doing today.
Keep up the good work, you have a gift for these things.
This man doesn't get enough respect in the wrestling world. He's innovative, one hell of a technician, has the gift of gab on the mic from what I can see, and even represents the wrestling community through wrestling magazine articles and books.
Well luckily for you Quack has made quite a few appearances in RoH in the past few years. In fact, the first time I ever saw him was in New York at the 7th Anniversary show this year. It was like an epiphany of sorts really; he's been my favorite ever since and he's completely revolutionized my thoughts on wrestling. It's not just entertainment, it's an art form; each match is a blank canvas with which wrestlers paint a masterpiece, and NO ONE is as good a painter as Mike Quackenbush.
@Hawkz80 He might be too old to be really over in ROH. Look how the fans there treat Jerry Lynn. Quack needs to go to TNA. The fans wont give a damn about his age as long as he can go in the ring.
Superb video. Mike Quackenbush is a phenomenal wrestler; a thousand moves and extremely charismatic. Good song selection and editing to the tune, great opening narration
Great video man. Only problem is in the description it says Quack is "One of the best in the world", correction Mike Quackenbush is THE best in the world.
Awesome video, probably my favorite Quack tribute. 5/5 and favorited.
awesome mv dude, i remeber i met him once and i got his autograph =), but awesome vid, 5/5, to bad utube cant go up to 10 cause thats what i think of it 10/10
