  • Do You have the Entire Love Never Dies London Production on dvd? I think Ramin & Sierra are the best Phantom & Christine. After seeing the Australian version , they should have the parts.

  • Love never Dies. I don't care what criticisms may be spoken. That song is one of the most brilliant workings Lloyd-webber has ever done. It reigns with all the other ones. There isn't a lloydWebber piece I do not like.

  • It's funny how much the show's changed since then haha

  • Pretty cool!

  • Saw this on Thursday 12 Jan at the Sydney Premier. Amazing! It flowed beautifully & I cried all through the first half. The cast, music, singing, costumes were a sight to behold & hear. It is musical theatre at its best. It arouses different passions than Phantom, which does take some getting used to first off. But the underlying melody of the entire musical eventually permeates your soul. The Master does it again. Congrats to Andrew Lloyd Webber on a beautiful piece of musical theatre...10/10

  • they did amazom.com

  • @LOVxxE me too.. :( obviously they have cause of this footage but they wont release a dvd ! booo

  • @Evviex the only filming they did was in august for archive purposes. these clips are not from a whole show, it was just when they filmed the highlights

  • The only DVD available is the Aussie cast, which I'd buy even though it doesn't have Ramin <3, but it's not available in the US :(

  • @MaryOttMusic its not out anywhere yet. as of now, australia gets it first on feb 8. japan gets it feb 22, germany feb 23, uk march 12, and the u.s. may 29. these dates can change, but right now this is how they stand

  • When is there going to be a U.S. tour? I'm getting very impatient cuz the more I listen to it, the more I love it, and the more I'm dying to see it!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • @eointr Funny...I heard it improved greatly when they released it in Australia and that people loved it...

  • @burgermainia15 the australian version was far better received by critics and audiences. that is one of the reasons it was chosen to be on dvd. in the end, lnd is no different than other musicals. If you want to see it, go see it. just because some people don't like it doesn't mean that you won't. this play does have alot of people who love.

  • Is there anywhere I can find the whole of this? I want a dvd of Love Never Dies with Ramin and Sierra!!!

  • @kakaroxox the only things out of this cast is the bootleg from the original version in april 2010 thats missing a few scenes, and the 3 scenes after the revamp

  • @kendrarussell sorry wat does bootleg mean? u mean they didnt film the whole thing from april 2010?

  • @kakaroxox a bootleg is a recording (audio and/or video) that was taken because someone went into a theater and recorded it with a device. It is usually taken without the cast, crew, etc permission. Whoever recorded the one in april 2010 may have had to hide their recorder for a bit, hence the missing scenes. the bootleg is from before the revamp. It does not contain the scenes starting at "giry confronts the phantom" up until part of "mother please i'm scared"

  • @kendrarussell oh ok. do you know where I can find the bootleg? thank you

  • @kakaroxox sorry i couldn't reply back in time. but if you decide you need another copy of it, let me know

  • @kendrarussell sorry could you tell me where I can find the bootleg? thank you for being so helpful and nice

  • Is the full show available anywhere? I'm dying to see it!!

  • I love Sierra's hand gestures... there is a true performer my friends. So natural and beautiful... she's just loving every second of it, you can tell

  • Bummer...I would LOVE to see this version!!!!!

  • @EriKaV81509 Trust me you will not be disappointed by the australian version.

  • The thing I love about the title song is that Christine has come full circle. In "Think of Me" she had her big moment, then with LND she had another big moment. And that song keeps making me cry! Lol.

  • Wow...now I can really see Christine as the magical singer she is supposed to be. I love the original PTO but it always seemed like the stage cast Christines were too pretentious and with voices too mature to be this innocent angel. And as much as I love Emmy Rossum's young and crystal clear voice, she just doesn't have the strength and projection required to be a diva.

  • cant fin wait till lnd (love never dies) comes to nz

  • I am dying waiting for this to come to the States. and its even more upseting knowing i wont get to see Ramin since he's my all time favorite phantom. i my opinion compared to gerard butler's voice he's the only one ot come close to sounding like i think the phantom should

  • @firesoul17 I totally agree with you about Ramin.

  • I want more of the original London cast! They should have filmed a performance!

  • WHEN IS THIS SHOW COMING TO SOUTH AFRICA?

  • Does anyone know if they're recording the Australia one with Sierra and Ramin?

  • @superspecialawsome13 no, the australian dvd will have the australian phantom and christine: ben lewis and anna o byrne

  • How in the world did they do the Skeleton with flesh legs?! ..... Ugh! No on second thought, I'd rather not ruin the magic.

  • @StarWoid1 I know, but I wont spoil your magic :)

  • you dont need a movie, they are going to film the Australian show and release it on DVD.

  • i would love a movie of love never dies movie as i never got to see it in the flesh, but with the original london cast. But i hope the rumour of a UK tour 2012 is true!

  • @JayJayLee959 what rumour?

  • @JayJayLee959 i think that is the Original Production of Phantom will be getting anew tour in 2012 :D xx

  • @JayJayLee959 Probably true, but still: Ramin is doing Lesmis then, Sierra is back in America. Summer is doing Tophat.. so if the tour will be there, its not with this cast.... Im sorry!

  • I know they're filming the AU cast and putting that on DVD...but if they have the footage from the London Cast, can we get that on DVD too? I want it so that I can watch Ramin and Sierra in both POTO (can't wait to own the 25th anniversary). I love Ramin and Sierra in these roles.

  • ...Why is the phantom balding? Wasn't it a wig anyway?

  • Lol the part with Erik and Gustav is like watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when Charlie's exploring something he shouldn't be.

    What's Erik showing him anyway?

Sierra is too beautiful and her voice is just..... argh! So angelic, I could definetely see her as Christine in the 2004 movie.

  • I so want a live dvd with ramin and sierra..!

  • I love all the dresses they keep putting Sierra Boggess in! My favorite one has to be the white dress with the hat that she wears when she sings "Dear Old Friend"

  • 2:46 i like how the music sounds like point of no return :)

  • @lukeostrow sounds more like little Lottie.

  • The costumes are so washed out =/ come see the Aussie version! It's gorgeous!!!

  • I saw the London show 9 times & would have seen it 100 more. I was there closing night. So very, very sad. What a great cast in a truly spectacular show. Great footage, thanks for putting it together. I love Phantom & have seen many times but this show is so much better. I never thought I'd ever say that about any show. It is superior in every way. It shows the full maturation of ALW 's musical genius come to fruition. It absolutely broke my heart & made me cry every time.

  • @wrfcarrickfergus Wow. I SO envy you. I'm in the United States and just couldn't afford to get to London, although I dearly wanted to. ALW kept promising LND would come to Canada and the US, but now it looks like that will never happen. :( I'm glad they're making a DVD but it won't be the same. Also, I don't think Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess are going to be on the DVD which is really disappointing, because I have fallen in love with them.

  • @mimmar3891 You're right. The DVD of LND is of the Australian production so it won't be Ramin and Sierra.

  • @mimmar3891 I too live in the US but was fortunate enough to find good airfares when I needed them. Ramin & Sierra are so nice in person. Very connected to their fans. Ramin has said the last time he would wear the Phantom mask was for the POTO 25 performance. :( I also wish it was the London show that was filmed. But will buy the AU DVD because I so love the music. There are a lot of people who are devastated that the OLC or the show at all won't be shown in America. tbc

  • @mimmar3891 ALW came, watched the entire performance & was close to tears closing nite when he took the stage. He said was the saddest nite of his career. In an interview he said they asked if they could film LND AU. He was blown away by the offer & accepted. Prior to the POTO 25 gala,he said that if all of his shows were playing the same nite, it probably wouldn't be POTO that he would attend. I'm pretty sure I know which one it would be & by his choices 4 POTO25, & which he would have filmed.

  • I'm so pissed it's not coming to Broadway -_-

  • i saw the melbourne one and this one looks ok but i love the melbourne one !

  • Great footage! I love Phantom and I love Love Never Dies!! :D I love the songs The London show looks pretty drab compared to the Melbourne one though, havent seen the London one in person but Ive seen the Melbourne one twice and am going to see it again a third time its amazing, I know they are recording the Melbourne version on dvd in Septemeber cant wait until the dvd is out then we can watch it again and again!! :)

  • love niiiiiiiiiiiiva dyyyyyyyyes! Most of the time you can't even tell what she says. It's just high notes.

  • I'm going to see Love Never Dies in the west end two weeks on wednesday, this has made me even more excited and I had to upload a video of me singing Love Never Dies, such a beautiful song. :)

  • ohmygod thank you for posting this! I've been trying to find ANY kind of footage since I went and saw the show like a year ago! hahaha

  • This looks soooooo fantastic, I cant wait to see the show on 9th of august *_*

Thats why I will come to London and GB!

Anyone here who can tell me, how i can get the cheapest way from Gatwick airport to Russell Square? xD

  • shes awsome but does anyone think she kinda looks like kimmy gibler from full house

  • you know what, i think ive found what the big difference between the two shows is. its in the styling! the first (POTO) expresses deep painful passion in its music while its set is grand and often cheerful. while the second's music is moving and often warm and its sets are strange and eerie. its almost as if the to reversed. thumbs if you agree.

    ...

They are both two parts of a single novel by the way!! for those who dont know.

  • @14597ojai Great points! I have to point out, though, that they're not two parts of a single novel. The Phantom of the Opera, by Gaston Leroux, is what the first show is based on. (And changed a good bit from the book, too.) Frederick Forsyth's The Phantom of Manhattan is a completely different book, written much later.

  • @mimmar3891 thank you for the correction :)

  • 2:03 - 2:09 ... Um, sound?

  • Somebody please explain to me the story.

I heard the soundtrack and i watch the movie if the original phantom.

Must please do explain. Okay... christine in the first movie kinda love both... Raol because it was her youth lover and gentle and all that and phantom because he was mysterious and was her angel. But in this LOVE NEVER DIES they talk has she had sex before getting married to raol. Still dont get it..she married a guy she did not love?? what happend after she went on the boat?

  • @InvaderZim18 okay, so long story short, the day before christine got married to raoul (that's how you spell it), she met with the phantom one last time in which they had sex. but the phantom left before the next day because he thought she would be horrified by the sight of him. she would have told him she loved him but he left before she could, in which she married raoul instead. i felt that she loved both in different ways.

  • @InvaderZim18 she went to see the phantom when he vanished from the opera house in paris, it was dark and without seeing him her passion for him grew and they made love once beneath a moonless sky, since then raoul has become a gambler and drinks and thats why they go to coney island because mr Y has booked christine and is paying a fortune which is needed to clear raouls debts

  • @garrychelsea The phantom killed people and was crazy. Hardly the man I would want even a one night stand with. The best thing he ever did was to let Christine go. If that is the plot then I am going to give this a miss. It just sounds way too implausible. And making Raoul a drunk is like changing his character so much that he is not the Raoul of the first phantom at all but someone with his name. Christine, you need to stay in France and sing over there to support yourself and your kid.

  • @lisaannejane2 I agree, to a point. The whole plot of this show seems implausible, although the music itself is beautiful, in my opinion. Ramin Karimloo is an amazing Phantom. I do think that many women, though, are drawn to the Phantom (I'm one of them), and give him a pass about the murders, because of the fact that he'd had been treated so badly and rejected by his own mother. Would I go out with him in real life? No, but in my fantasies I have a soft spot for men I'd need to nurture.

  • how i wish i could see the live show ;(

  • Why ever did they fire Sierra (if not, I get why she left, because of bad reviews). Either way, she was about the best Christine you could get. i absolutely LOVE her voice. wonderful video! sad about the silent parts, though.

  • The story sucks, but the execution -- music, sets, costumes, casting -- is downright amazing.

  • i've just come back from watching Love Never Dies and anyone who thinks they might go but unsure GO! :D i loooved it! Ramin sang amazing! my favorite song has to be Devil Take The Hindmost x) i hope they make a movie so us Phans can watch it at home :)

  • Absolutely amazing! I wish I could have seen it live when they were here but they wont to Melbourne. Sierra sings "Love Never Dies" with ease as well, makes me super jealous! I cannot to save my life hit those high notes!!!

  • sierras voice just amazes me!!!!

  • @TheBroadwayballerina Her voice is just as gorgeous as she is... it's amazing how high she can get!

  • just amazing and sad that sierra has left cause she is outstanding havent seen it yet and really wanted to see her oh well and glad ramin is there cause he is outstanding and i love him

  • If it doesn't come to North America (Canada please!) then please make a movie

  • @Curveytoothpick or to Germany

  • @Curveytoothpick AGREED! (America) but I live in Michigan so i'm not anywhere near broadway or a major theater that they would visit. :P

  • @Curveytoothpick They have filmed the Australian production. It comes out next February!

  • @Curveytoothpick I heard their releasing a dvd Theatre version, in May 2012

  • this first part of the vid wasn't when we went to see it is that normal??

  • that necklace looks like the one from moulin rouge

  • Oh my gosh, the set is awful. the australian one was amazing.. how did london muck it up?

  • @aalg4c I even prefer the Australian version of the dress Christian wears. The London one looks too.. baggy? Like it's trying to look like the original one in the Phantom of the Opera. But fails. Especially on Sierra. She has such a lovely form, too!

  • @omegacadenza10 Yes I know, I love the "queen of the night" look too. its the sort of role "christine" would have played

  • @omegacadenza10 HA. CHRISTINE* and yes (:

  • What the hell is this!?!?! >:O

  • hi!!i am a big fun of phantom of the opera but i live in greece...as you can understand i cant see that play...could you tell me the story??

  • hi!!i am a big fun of phantom of the opera...as you can understand i cant see that play...could you tell me the story??

  • ramin is just so perfect in every single way possible <3

  • the gusave we saw was smaller en cuter xq

  • She does her ariel arms all the time! <3 Yay for Ariel! <3

  • @OMGKristleSayWhat ariel arms????

  • People might hate me for this... but , i really want to see this wonderful play be turned into a movie with the same actors from the first one, I am sorry ahah but its something i would love to experience in a movie and broadway like the first one:)

  • @OARminkayx3 It would also accomplish the same feat the last one did: allow EVERYONE to see it, and not just those who can afford to see the show IF it's ever in their vicinity. Love Never Dies, come to Texas! Please! *Feel my pain, people. Feel my pain.* :( (

  • @OARminkayx3 That would be amazing. However, I'd probably pickRamin Karimloo as the phantom, over gerrard butler. But hell yes MOVIE PLEASEEE!

  • @OARminkayx3 i agree completely

  • @OARminkayx3 I'm always one to like the original broadway cast better, but if they use the same actors in a sequel as the first movie, it makes better sense and I feel more satisfied.

  • @OARminkayx3 he special effects that could be managed in this day and age wouod make it amazing my new official life goal is to become a director so that i can produce a remake of the first and a movie of this one

  • the music is wonderful and so is the show but the story itself is terrible like some fanfiction horribly gone wrong ... who wrote this?? stephenie meyer?

  • @PornyPonyProductions Ouch! That was slightly harsh, wasn't it?

  • Did anyone else see the shadow running in the background at 0:17? 0 _ o

  • @AzusaNakano0 Oh my!! I did not notice that until you pointed it out. Haha I laughed when I saw it :)

  • I think the scores are great, acting is great. But the plot is something that a 12 year old fluff fanfiction writer would come up with. It's just not good for a musical. A fanfiction, sure. But not a musical.

  • Best show in the west end !

  • did you see the original or the new version (november 26 and onward)

  • Sierra's voice is outstanding. The only thing I don't like is the fact Christine and the Phantom have a kid. It's too far-fetched.

  • can somebody tell me if the phantom and christina get together? just in a private message? thx

  • @Bremen25 they would probably but she is shot in the end ...

  • i watched this with my little sis and she asked if at 2:38 they were going to highfive >___>

  • @MUSEmaniakOO Hahaha. How old is she?

  • @Broadwaygirl01 10 XD

  • I saw Love Never Dies on Saturday 5th March, and my God, was it spectacular. Brings me to tears just thinking about it. The cast were all lovely too :)

  • @ScenemoSweetie I was there too, the cast were excellent. The staging was amazing too, just a shame the story is such a failure.

  • adelphi theatre superb

    singing sets everything

     the music is absolute

  • phantom actually has blond hair, the black hair always shown is a wig. you now this when he takes of the mast his hair is reviled. p.s am i the only one who thinks the phantom has THE best voice, and is beyond hotness?

  • @beckybo053 Nope, I agree!

  • Sierra's voice is so beautiful! She makes a wonderful Christine.

  • can someone help me? i want to know the main cast of when i saw love never dies. it was on february 25th 2011. if someone can inform i would be great! thnx

  • @queenie017ess You should of seen all of the main cast featured in this video (Ramin Karimloo, Sierra Boggess, Summer Strallen, Joseph Millson, Liz Robertson, Niamh Perry, Adam Pearce and Jami something) , except for Gustave. The Gustaves changed over in August and there on a rota, so you could of had any one of six.

  • @ScenemoSweetie omg thank u soooooooo much!!!!!!!! sorry for the late reply, for some reason i couldnt log into youtube for a while :( thanks soooo much!

  • Love never dies isn't scientifically correct because it was based on another book written by Frederick Forsyth, not Gaston Leroux who was the original author of the Phantom of the Opera, and his ending was THE ending of Phantom of the Opera. It was also written after Gaston Leroux died and after POTO came out, so it's not the correct ending because it's not from the original and true genius and author who wrote POTO. Seriously, Andrew, This wasn't nessersary. NOT CORRECT OR REAL! IGNORE IT!

  • @lossie101 Aye, but the first POTO musical was very different from the book too. I mean... Erik dies, Christine is a blondie, and Raoul has a freaking hissy fit every freaking chapter... I'd say the closest to the original novel is the silent film. Phantom of Manhattan makes me want to go into a dark hole of book pity. Love Never Dies has a similar concept to Manhattan, but at least Andrew didn't put poor Erik in a clown suit. D:

  • I cannot say I like or dislike the show because I have not seen it yet. But from what I have read on the show it sounds like a fanficiton. I am very iffy about going to see it.

  • @ThePinkBlob123 Trust me, it works. It might not be accurately for continuity's sake; it's entertainment so let's not start picking holes in the plot. I saw it last month and LOVED it. The music is wonderful; the cast are amazing so just go and see it and find out for yourself

  • as much as I love Ramin and think hes hot and has an awesome voice I just don't understand why they would choose him when he was already said to be a little to young when he was in the original phantom and this is suppose to be the phantom 10 years older. Still love him though!

  • @dandanjanett1 Speak only for yourself.

  • she looks like demi lovato...but obvi sings wayyyyyy better lol

  • In the song love never dies, her diction gets pretty bad near the end, especially on the high notes. i can't tell @ all what she saying - "Long live the kitten"???

  • @alannadainekelaly - It's "life may be fleeting."

  • A shit show and a shit story. Can it go away please?

  • @demeuredulac I agree!

  • wait what and who is the beginning of the clip showing? i don't this show very well...

  • @SingSwing17 it was Madame Giry and Ms. Fleck

  • I've seen the show 3 times. It was amazing!

  • Phantom needs no sequel.

  • I loved all the songs; the new cast does a wonderful job in making the sequel. The only thing I wish is that the "boy" have black hair (if he is to be the Phantom's son) and that Christine finds some better "wig glue" because it seems to becoming unglued in many actes...I was a bit sad to see how Madam Giry turned out though..tsk tsk dear lady; I thought you were above jealousy..I wish we could see the part where the Phantom hears the boy play and realize he is his son?

  • @02bher1 have you seen the show? if so what does the songs "Beautiful" "Beauty Underneath" and "Please miss giry" look like?

  • @02bher1 Unfortunately thats wig glue for you, and anyway the main body of the wig is held on by clips.

  • @02bher1 well actually the phantom wears a black wig and when it comes off, his hair is actually a light blonde color. also in the book the phantom of the opera, it says Erik is scandinavian. so it makes sense that Gustave has blonde hair.

  • @02bher1 actually, since I'm pretty sure this phantom wears a black wig, blonde hair could be very appropriate.

  • @soulchild180 yeah, phantom wears a black wig. his actual hair color on stage is a whitish blonde. also, the actors i've seen just use their natural hair. just most of them are blond

  • @02bher1 I always thought the Phantom had blond hair. The mask also had a wig with it that the phantom wears. Unless that was really just a movie thing and I've forgotten...

  • @02bher1 Yes but somepeople when their young start off with fair coloured hair and then go darker

  • @02bher1 gustuve the little boy is the phantoms son listen to the song Gustave Gusatve

  • Anyone elso notice that the song "Love Never Dies" is actually "Our Kind of Love" from The Beautiful Game?

  • @nestersg yes. the sone "the heart is slow to learn" is the song LND. andrew never used our kind of love. he switched the words for LND. he tells you about it in the soundtrack. he explaines the sone LND and about the origional lyrics.

  • @AndrewScheve

It just seems like he's not even trying.

  • @nestersg What AndrewScheve failed to explain is that "Love Never Dies, The Heart is Slow to Learn, A Beautiful Game" melody was made originally for a Phantom Sequel. But since he didn't think he'll successfully create a sequel for the Phantom, he allowed the melody to be used in other musicals. But, in a way, he prevented it to be a official song for these musicals because he always felt that it was more suitable for the Phantom sequel. That's why he used it for "Love Never Dies".

  • @GlitteryRose thank you, i forgot to mention that part.

  • @nestersg it sure is!!

except ALW re-wrote it and fixed a couple of things here and there...

maybe he's running out of ideas??? but i think it was because it was such a beautiful song, but wasn't recognised in the beautiful game because the musical wasn't that popular.

  • @chazaii Look at my post to nestersg.

  • the show is fantastic adn I would go again

  • is their a filmed video of the last song or the whole show?
