CG is a part-time wank-fest. Not a lot of civies are aware that they are reservists trained almost exclusively to march pretty and nothing else.

Don't bother protesting, I shared the armories with them and know the whole truth of it.

Actually, have you seen any videos of the Brits lately? Most are overweight, sloppy, the horns are not parallel to the ground, the uniforms aren't tailored properly, and overall, the quality of dress, deportment, and sound is just not what is used to be :(

And these guys (Ceremonial Guard) had been standing in 44 degree heat on concrete for over 2 hours. So forgive them if look and sound exhausted. But yes, curses to the trumpet player!!!! Jeez.

Yes, the RCD and RCR are most certainly marching behind the Ceremonial Guard. The band was only playing for the 100th year anniversary of the two aforementioned regiments. Still, there is no affiliation with CG.
