I think sx bikes are for motocross which means - more powerful engines and very loud exhaust. Also the do not have a front light and turn signals. All this mean they are not street legal.

apart from the exc being road legal by having the lights an such. it generally has a softer suspension set up and geared differentlr. usually a wider ratio box n is tuned different 2 deliver more low down power than top end.

KTM RULES im gonna try and get an 8000 dollar loan to get an 08 or 09 530 or 505. I have a 520sx amd i love it. If you watch the video where theres the crazy S turn and the guy is goin fast you can see a KTM only thing the headshake of the bars in corners.

Its not the power the bike makes, it how you ride it. the rider makes the bike, Im a KTM rider for life. and ive done less then half the maintance and upkeep to my bike over my buddys jap 4 bikes. and the technology is way ahead of them.
