@VampireYoshi u have in Revelation a series of seals being broken, and with each, something bad is unleashed. So yes things like in this movie may happen during what's called the Tribulation. But that won't totally destroy the earth. As far as I can remember (which isn't much) there isn't anything that clearly states if earth will even be destroyed, or if it'll be healed...? I think there's something about a new heaven and earth in there...not sure if that means a whole new planet entirely tho.
