  • hey nice move to yo have a varition of it with the camera cover?

  • really nice trick. but kinda overengineered. whats the point of a visa switch when u can just turn the card over and do a clipshift.

  • This is one of the most popular and visual effects there is on YT, but it's so sad that it's almost impossible to come up with a presentation to go with this effect.

BTW: that's an insane blank fan( that IS what it's called right?), how come you can do it with a card sticking out?

  • WOOOOOOOOOOAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, THAT FAN WAS FUCKING AWESOME. I GET IT WHEN YOU FAN YOU HIDE ----------.. BUT WOAHHH

  • Good, but your clipshift is way better now:D

  • @Cubsen that would be a spring.

  • @Cubsen oh sorry, before the spring, I think it's Chris Kenner's diving board, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @149scrat It's Lee Asher's Diving Boad Double.

  • dudes he uses the clipshit right??

so when u buy the trick from maydey (.) com does he teach u the clipshift

cuz if he does he better have the permession frm chad nelson lol

  • @TheShadowFreak3010 no mean,he can't teach the clipshift, you have to buy surface for learn all details

  • well that is what am asking when u have to do the clipshift he just says "do the Clipshift " but he doesnt teech it. phew

  • teach*

  • @TheShadowFreak3010 You can buy this from maydey?

  • @TheShadowFreak3010 he probably will push the card into a palm and then hit the deck while the card is palmed, that would be a good idea

  • i think that's the Lee Asher's Diving Board Double.. If I'm not mistaken. I hope it helps 8ALMANAC8

  • thank you so much tejuco ive been looking for that sleight for awhile....check out my channel .............--

  • Man, if BlackTiger994 actually judged videos and not pick the winners out of a hat you would definitely get 1st place.

  • how did you loose the contest!

  • When did you learn how to spell "lose"?

  • sorry I wasn't paying attention, but look how bad other people spell

  • I had to see this video almost 20 times to know what he is doing.. gotta say your moves are freaking smooth..

  • Beautiful. Is there a name for that first control?

  • how can we learn this?

  • Having experience with magic, and knowing stuff..

  • @magicalteacher11 watch it a couple of times then u will get it

  • Pretty smooth handling! How long you've been in cardistry?

  • awsome

  • wat control is that plzzzzz

  • Well now, that'd help you figure out the method, now wouldn't it?

  • @jo5hbrand hahahah i

  • @jo5hbrand OMFG teach me this trick

  • @pivotmaster641 it is not a control, it is just magic :)

  • just do it in the other hand but it takes practice

  • I love watching this. The effect just never gets old. I learned the right way to do this now. You need to make a new video:D

  • Do you know when? Thanks man

  • actually i doubt josh will post a tutorial on this

  • I figured it out!

yes! still great performance though, it wasn't bad by any means. I'm just famimliar with these moves.

  • the move at 0:35 is killing me! i can't figure it out.

  • can you do a tutorial please

  • ur sleights are amazing

  • o god .. :| ..

  • 0:14 Sleight of hand

  • Wooow

  • whats the move at 0:47 please name.

  • It's the diving board double.

  • A spring?

  • hey are u doing that card spring with your pinkey just wondering cause it looks cool

  • i know how it's done,it took me 1 month to figure it out

  • how do you do this trick? is there a tutorial for it?

  • It's magic. On a related note, there could very well be a tutorial for my effect in the coming months. And if so, it will be released as a digital download on Maydey(dot)com.

  • ok how did everybody else find out how to do it?

  • If you are familiar with basic sleight of hand, this effect is quite easy to reconstruct.

  • i know how to do the first revaltion and the second i just cant put them together.

  • I don't know about basic. Not only would I call those moves intermediate but they are combined very well and performed exceptionaly.

  • wow, amazing 5/5

  • i thought u knew how to do this trick

  • nope.

  • so how come i didn't win ur contest I performed it very smoth .. i belive

  • ha ya but its all over youtube and ive seen it before..

  • i thought it was the performance what it counted, u should said, it can be any trick but dinner for two duh

  • i said if its not plasterd all over youtube you get more points..

  • but i really feel like... a moron....

knowing who won the first prize...

that dude didn't even know how to hold a deck of cards...

  • nice dude.. can u check my vid of this same trick.. That will be awesome if u let me know what u think.. i tried to do it as much possible as u performed it. thanks

  • the trick that only left-handed can do.. the thumb fan..but, great.. i can try this..

  • How long did you practice the clipshift until you mastered it?

  • I haven't mastered it. I have been doing the shift since July of 2008 however.

  • what is the move called at 0:47?

  • It's the diving board double by Lee Asher.

  • Hey jo5h, nice performance. The fan is just amazing. Your videos look better now that u changed the thumbnail to the title of the trick

  • Good sleight of hand.

No doubt, it's an amazing trick.

However, I don't understand the move of revealing the first selection.

I mean the move is not motivated, and audiences may be confused because they can not follow the deck flipping.

  • It's just easy. Two selections are lost in the center. The first one reveals it self. And with using the first selection the second selection can be found.

  • It'd be nice to not inadvertently reveal a part of the method in your comment.

  • holy jesus!

how did you flip the cards round?!?

    brilliant performance
