  • All it did was help re-elect one of the greatest presidents ever!

Still American people getting lulled to sleep by Tea Party nonsense!

So wonderful to see the Good Guys putting up the truth and Fighting Back for progress instead of anti-labor, Big Business Wall Street lies!!!! Yeah for America and the real Americans whose sweat builds this country!!!

  • A train that looks like FDR!! That's kind of spooky!!

I wonder if they'll do one with Obama's face on it in 2012.

  • The Republican looks surprisingly similar to John McCain. COINCIDENCE?! Well yeah, but... funny nonetheless.

  • God I hate FDR.

Where was the prison car on that train with a bunch of Japanese Americans locked up inside it? We want security? What did Ben Franklin say about security? Those willing to trade it for freedom deserve neither and will lose both. This guy arrested any one who was too outspoken against any of his policies and tried American citizens in secret by military tribunal.

We give Bush a hard time for half the crap that FDR did. Bush will probably be seen as a hero in the history books.

  • @Silvsilvchan It is commonplace to inter possible sympathisers during times of war. Remember the axis powers were setting about exterminating and enslaving much of the world! Compare that to Guantanamo Bay or Camp X-Ray. Where 'suspects' are kidnapped, interred and tortured away from American soil. The very reason this cartoon and UPA existed is because of the Hoover initiated McCarthy anti-communist witch hunt. Many were ex-Disney employees, who were labelled communists.

  • All it did was help elect a president to his unprecedented fourth term in office.

    *disgusted*

  • Whoa. Always wanted to see this Chuck Jones tour-de-farce.

    Thanks!

Do you have any "Snuffy Smith" and "Beetle Bailey" cartoons?

  • I see that this cartoon not only helped the United States win the Second World War, but also presented a strong anti-tobacco message.
