  • im thinkin theres some acid or something in that bowl their passin around...

  • @QFunk69

Possibly, but perhaps it's a metaphor for marijuana which was also known as tea at times (along with pot (of tea?)). My guess is the director was probably censored from showing a bunch of peaceful hippies passing a joint around and not acting like the crazies in "Reefer Madness". I'm just going by logic, which is often wrong.

  • This is vary disturbing...

  • name song????

    plzz

  • @Guigst1 world of pain

  • @Guigst1 Two songs, world of pain and we're going wrong.

  • Great Great Threads the boys are wearing....Jack's get up is sensational!!!

  • thanks for the upload, dylan was influenced by woody guthrie and the rest was a spontaneous combustion of the british invasion (influenced by american blues), and american rock and roll, also influenced by american blues.

  • psychotic cops, and kids! what a mix-pure60's!

  • ¡¡¡FLOWER POWER!!!

  • It's NOT from a TV-show. It's from a Danish movie called: Det var en lørdag aften (It was one Saturday night). And Cream were playing Cophenhagen when they were used in the movie lip-synching to World of pain and We're going wrong.

    René

    Denmark

  • This is a weird scene.. seriously.. Its a danish movie. The man was a danish wellknown actor, but what are cream doing there?

  • 2.58 that face is just waaaaaaaaaaaaahaha :D !! great video !!

  • If this was made for television in 1968 , why is it in a 16:9 widescreen format instead of the 4:3 narrowscreen format that was standard back then ?

  • these were the "clapton is god -- so let's all perm our hair like him" days

  • @ultrakool actually her permed his hair because of jimi hendrix.

  • @ultrakool Clapton did his cause he liked Hendrix hair, Hendrix did hjs cause he liked Dylans' hair, don't know who Dylan was influenced by, maybe Buckwheat!

  • Authority ready for violence, undone by peace, echoes to Egypt 2011

  • the danes live like this today..hahaha just dress different

  • World of pain is definitely a tracked to get cooked by.....

  • maravilloso (L)

  • this is so 1967 LOL

  • you can't almost smell the pot coming out of the screen

  • Thank you, thank you for taking me back to the greatest time on earth...audio could be better but I can live with it for the visuals. All you Hippie hating Un-hip Hopper's out there, eat my ass-id!

  • The coppers are almost as disgusting as the hippies.

  • Outside my window isssss a treee.

    Tree of the wisdom...

  • Denmark I take it -cold as hell - but will bet that the hash & blotter were great !

  • Oooh never seen Eric with the Tele in Cream!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @DirtyMidnightTown look again Einstein. I mean his sunburst Fender Telecaster with Strat neck in THIS video. Watch it to the end, got ADHD and can't make it that far?

  • @Unclemoparman Yes, a Tele for "We're going wrong", his "Fool" SG for the first part, before he removed it's Maestro trem for supposed tuning stability...oh that Eric, always subtracting. To other post's here: People who hate hippies are sexually repressed and tend to lead violent, meaningless lives.

  • OMG - hippies, the cannon fodder the illuminati.

  • nice!

  • world of pain

  • @coal1987

     + We're Going Wrong

  • Totally fantastic! Does anyone know of any others like that? Thanks for posting.

  • They must have been protesting the cold weather.

  • Wow,priceless!!

  • Very 1968 Great video . Fits the time well . I'm 64 and was at that time period . Remember most of it . Due to being wrapped up in that life style for a 10 year warp it was fun . But cannot look back . It was what it was . All in all Eric's style is very unique and has class . It's to bad Jack and Ginger never stayed out in the limelight and pursued their career's . I guess they were not motivated enough . Jack has a masters degree n music U of Scoland

  • LOL...hahahahahahahahha at 4:46 totally funny:-))) ...a lesson like Jesus way....

  • What was that guitar JB is playing?

  • @Marquiffe

    Google Fender Baritone...

  • @metart93 thanks for the info: I've seen photos of JB with the guitar but never knew what it was

  • @metart93 Didnt Fender call it a BASS V1 ?

  • @twoslices yes.

  • This is actually 2 seperate Cream songs.

The first is "World of Pain"

The second is "We're Going Wrong"

    Amazing footage! Thanks :)

  • 2:50

Eric used Fender Custom Telecaster Sunburst.

The Telecaster's neck was exchanged Ritchie Blackmore's Fender Stratocaster's neck which has large head.

This Telecaster was exchanged to 1956 Stratocaster's neck and used in Blind Faith.

  • @MURAMURA92 Thanks. How do you know all this?

  • alot pf people says that Clapton is overrated,,you can never overrate Greateness..God

  • This is sooo great. Cream on a flatbed truck video. Puts U2's rooftop video to shame!

  • Looking back at those days, the girls were cute and the guys were long haired, bearded, smelly, dope-smoking freaks.

  • @88maverick1 Yes, i happen to know the famous Fool SG. I was talking about the other guitar in this video, the one you can see at 2.51

  • @RockNRollOverDose Fender Telecaster

  • does this make any sense to anyone?!

  • @1954telecaster ,

    That's why this film wasn't a hit.

  • wow...this is so weird!!!

  • being young is such a blessing

  • I've got my doubts about whether this was made for television because it's in the 16:9 format instead of the 4:3 format television used back then .

  • was that a cab that cop was riding? where did her get it? blah, blah, blah : )

  • Funny all the B.S. about MJ being evil...now it's legal, and the world didn't end

  • God damn it! I wanna know what is the story behind that telecaster with a stratocaster neck! It is probably the same one Clapton used in Hyde Park with Blind Faith! Dont believe it is a tele with strat neck on this video? I am certain of it. I have this Cream DVD that has a large picture and you can easily see that it is that guitar. Since when has he owned that? Is it really Brownie´s neck on it,as some people claim? What happened to it?

  • @RockNRollOverDose It is in fact brownies neck ;)

  • but the 3 vids of tales of brave ulysses, spoonful, and sunshine of your love are great

  • man! this is rare stuff. there's no good cream videos on youtube

  • Japan is a weird place, man.

  • Spacey freakout!

  • " the fool " where is it... anyway ? i'm sure eric would like to know... himself..... perhaps i should ask him...

  • Todd Rundgren had it until 2000 when it was auctioned at Sotheby's. An anonymous buyer got it for $150,000 and later sold it for $500, 000

  • This is from danish television 1968 i think

  • im guessing jack is playing a baritone here? ive seen other pics of him playing that. did he tune it down to bass tuning?

  • More likely a Fender Bass VI. Ventures used 'em. Also big on the spy movie and spaghetti western themes.

  • yep, he tuned it like one octave below.

  • clapton got the SG after his les paul was stolen and gave it to the art group the fool and they painted it for him they did jack's fender VI later and rushed it but it never dryed properly and it became sticky

  • Duane Allman ???? Wrong group, dude.... that was the Dominoes.

  • What you see is part of a Danish movie called "On a Saturday Night" ("Det var en lørdag aften"). Cream has got nothing to do with the plot of the movie. They just appear with a lot of hippies for a while ...

  • Yeh a pity they didn't show much of the band. A typical period piece this one but great fun - whoever dreamt these things up? They mimed to the two Disraeli Gears songs on Monday 5th February (World Of Pain / on truck) and Tuesday 6th February (We're Going Wrong / in hall) 1968. On Wednesday 8th they played two gigs at the Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen.

  • Rare stuff...great post.

  • hashish

  • (i didnt know clapton ever played his custom telecaster with cream, very interesting)

  • that is not a telecaster, its not even a fender. It is a Gibson SG, he only played it while with cream, it was a gift by the dutch art group The Fool, the flipped out fender bass jack bruce is playing was also a gift from them, by the time he went to Blind Faith (his band after Cream) he was playing almost entirely on a fender stratocaster or his gibson ES-335. Last I heard Todd Rundgren now owns the GIBSON SG.

  • There is a clip of Eric playing a tele at 2.51...the SG wasn't a gift from the Fool he commisioned them to paint it as did Bruce. He only took up the strat after Blind Faith on his 1st solo album. Rundgren has recently auctioned the SG.

  • LOL wtf ive never seen this before

  • yeah, this is pretty cool! especially how fast Jack's mustache grows in after the truck ride! lol Jack sure can sing... subliiime

  • Its about the hippies in denmark. Kobenhagen

  • what the name of the songs?

  • The songs are World of Pain and We're Going Wrong -- from Disraeli Gears, Cream's second album. Search those song names on YouTube. Someone has downloaded them. They can be heard in much better quality.

  • You just wish it could go on and on. But it stops after six minutes. Those songs are two of my Cream favorites. I was 22 and living in Ocean Beach (San Diego, CA coast) in 1968.

  • i lived next to Pt Loma HS

  • this is when clapton was good he has never been the same since break up of cream

  • Bollocks what about the Dominoes??????

  • Duane Allman made that group it wasnt the same after he died

  • yea you clearly have your head really far up your ass

  • it's not susnhine of your love

  • Trippy!

  • wow the video quality is great

  • me never saw this either. THANK YOU!

  • this is from a danish movie.. Det Var En Lordag Aften meaning "on a saturday night" I think

  • omg!! Ive never see this one before!! Im surprised!! thanks a lot for posting this!!!:D

  • Never knew footage of this existed. Brilliant post!

  • Likewise. I own about four DVDs of Cream documentaries and not one hints at this!

  • @jjmc60 Indeed, but at the same time ,this is totaly ridiculous,to think, that one time this crazy lot was taken seriously.Clapton & friends will be embarrassed beyond words, that they took part in this sham. Probably on instigation of Robert (stiggy) Stigwood. The man who gave us Sergeant Pepper The Movie......;-/

  • @PAULLONDEN Although...On second thoughts, I overreacted, in those days other well known bands, did lend themselves for such ventures,The Pretty Things in "What's Good For The Goose; even "The Rolling Stones Circus"had images of incredible naive and silly hippies. .Compared to todays dross ,it wasn't even that bad.
