I hate Scrap merchants, I resent them, & I'll my life for one single purpose: To see them die! My goals lie only in darkness.
The France Norway is gone, & I did nothing. I just sat & watch her die. If only I had power. If only I had ultimate power. I would have been able to save her. France must be avenge. As well as all the Liners that were scrapped. I won't let anyone who scraps a Ocean Liner live. I mean it
My Liner of my parents generation. GOD, I love her! You know my Grandma was almost 17 when she made her Maiden Voyage. France was almost 3 years old when my Mom was born, almost 5 when Dad was born. 7 years after France become Norway, I was born
the problem is, is that our societies want speed of time over quality of time. These beautiful ships, should still be in use, but...... we don't value quality anymore as a rule.

OH France. What a beautiful Liner. Graceful lines, Majestic funnels, Sumptous interiors. A successor to Normandie in everyway.

what a magnificent liner she was!!!
clearly the most beautifull liner ever built..grace-elegance and sexyness she boasted...
even more handsome then france was the very first ss norway refit...
the blue color enhanced her looks even more..
it is such a shame NCL got rid of her in such a terrible way,obscenely cut-up on an indian beach...
never again anything like her will be built!!!
we lost a pearl..a jewel..a true queen of the seas,wich allways will live on

I was on board the SS France and it crossed the Le Havre to New York in
4 days and 3 nights unbelievable speed.
Meals were fantastic but the best was the party on the last evening a Bon Voyage
party is given.
