I've been searching for natural hair dyes (or a least something that won't harm my hair) for the last few days and I'm still not sure. I have a TWA (teenie weenie afro) and I wanna add some color.. I don't want a dramatic color, I have dark brownish/black (1b) hair and I want a very dark red/ burgandy color..like the color doesn't have to show to the naked eye but I want the reddish brown tint...anyway do you have any recommendations???
@Sanita1210 I can only recommend what I use and this does have a developer. The ingredients are listed on the site for the color and developer.
The first color I did on my hair was from Herbatint and it was 5R Light Copper Chestnut, which was darker and burgundy. It didn't show enough for me (except in the light) and I went lighter with this color. Hope that answers your questions. :)
Hey lady! I've been using herbatint for about a year and I love it! Like you, I was kind of surprised that there werent more reviews about it too. I swear by Vitacost! I actually have a recurring order for the color because I always have to fight my grays at the roots LOL. Love the color you chose.... I just actually got my lighter color, so I can't wait to try it. Your hair looks great!
@chokolatgurl Thank you! Yeah I had to go out on a limb and try it because I saw only one other person try it on Fotki. I'm still thinking about going lighter, but I may just grow it out.
also I refuse to lift, bleach, or put a developer in my hair, trying to keep it as natural as possible.
