Alain Johannes is noteworthy for multiple things:

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Jack Irons & Hillel Slovak came out of a band called "What is this?". That band's lead guitarist was Alain Johannes.

Alain Johannes was also a guitarist/bassist for Queens for multiple tours and what are, imo, their 2 best albums.

He's been all over the 'seattle' scene with various grunge bands, Desert sessions, and the "other" guy for Them Crooked Vultures.

overall, awesome dude. So's Dave, but you all knew that.

that concert was insane...but it was TOO SHORT!!! I held a big sign that said "You Better Sing Black" and they didn't :( and a day after they played Black at another concert...

but they kicked ass anyway..a dream come true. the entire festival was terrific.

no one talks about the great alain johannes at least KoenBloodThunder knows him and why is everyone talking about dave big discussion between foo fighter fans that werent old enough to live the nirvana era fromm beggining and the pearl jam era when it wasnt only music for girls people may not understand but music was like football for the european and american football for americans there was a lot of competition and rage about it and discographics were earning millions
