I like vanilla, it has a rich, creamy, smooth texture. And unlike rocky road and whatnot, I don't feel this overwhelming urge to brush my teeth and wipe my lips afterwards. The problem is all this all-natural vanilla which has a watered down taste compared to some of the artificial sweetening that really gives some vanilla its kick.

"Don't hate the player, hate the game" is a good quote as some here have mentioned, but at what point do we say as a people that this is just not OK. I hate the players, the game, and the fans(viewers) who created this monster.

Hey, wait one second.
I like vanilla, it has a rich, creamy, smooth texture. And unlike rocky road and whatnot, I don't feel this overwhelming urge to brush my teeth and wipe my lips afterwards. The problem is all this all-natural vanilla which has a watered down taste compared to some of the artificial sweetening that really gives some vanilla its kick.

Ryan Seacrest has been hosting, producing,..heck doing almost everything there is on many shows. Much as he works, hell I'd love to work for him. The man just does the job in many ways as possible. People think it's easy when in reality it's not. (Not that I would know, but hell that would be pressuring for me to handle doing shows every week.)

wow, I didn't know Simon Cowell earned 134 millions. Was that really per season as they make it sound or was it overall?
If it's per season, then I really don't feel like Seacrest earning 60 million/year, because the dude is all over the place working his ass off (maybe literally at times) and has no life outside his job. It's more deserved than 134 millions to sit in a tight black shirt showing your nipples and trying to be the asshole for TV ratings.

Seacrest isn't worth that much obviously (who is). But I find him pretty likable and easy to listen to on TV. Granted I basically only see him on the opening weeks of Idol and New Years Eve.

Can someone please explain why people hate Ryan Seacrest so much? I am not American, and though I have followed some episodes of American Idol, I really don't see where all the hate comes from. I'm kinda indifferent to him... he is an okay host, but I really don't think he is THAT unlikeable. So what is the problem? What did I miss? What did he do? Surely he must have done something to deserve this burning hatred aimed at him from everyone.

If you actually read what I said I made the point that Cowell makes that money from not just "being a cunt to people" he owns rights, he takes a ownership cuts etc.. and for better or for worse has rather rare qualifications.
Seacrest on the other hand is just a dime a dozen talking head. Large difference.

Not necessarily. Sometimes "entertainers" do not earn the revenue to justify their salary. Look at athletes who do not perform after a high contract year or star actors who lose their appeal and their film flops.

@fackafacka In free market capitalism with all the envisioned efficiency it's not just how much a person makes for the company it's how rare there skills are to achieve that. Hence why postgrades will only earn £30,000 a year in a drug company that makes Billions.
The point is his skills are dime a dozen (Vanilla). The books of any agency will have dozens of Ceacrests. Yet he earns 60M.
The point here is inefficiency in broadcasting, from historic lack of competition.

In capitalism hardwork does not entitle you to any wage, your worth (any worth) is a function of demand. A PC costs less than a hunk of diamond that does nothing. It's all priced on demand.
In Seacrests case there is a glut of money in TV . He is milking that glut. That's all. As the internet takes ever more advertising money away from TV they will soon have to trim there costs.....
