If you own the PS3 version, then you automatically own the PC version on your Steam account, so you can play it on the PC like a normal person.

It's because of how video games render their worlds - it's known as the "Hall of Mirrors" effect. Most games no longer have this, due to use of a skybox, but Portal 2 is almost always within a closed space, eliminating any need for a skybox.

The "blurring" or "burning" is probably the hall of mirrors effect meeting with bloom and motion blur.

@ultradude25 No, it's because when you're outside the map, there are no surfaces to draw, so stuff from previous frames doesn't get erased. Because of how HDR and glare works in Source, images of what you were just looking at become smeared instead of vanishing, and anything you continue to look at develops a bright aura.

The part of the video that shows them clipping through walls gave me a weird idea. An invisibility gel. Not sure what it's purpose would be but it'd be neat if it made whatever it covered transparent. Perhaps transparent to allow energy to travel through, but not solid objects (like allow you to shoot portals behind the objects?), just thinking out loud. =)
