  • being a lighting designer as soon as saw this i immediately though of a lot of paper work and cost if you didnt own all those lights. I would suggest using LED though.

  • Hi,

    where r u from ?

I am really interested in working in shows like these...

I hav some basic knowledge abt lights.

    plz make sure u reply..

    thanks

  • i've been using wyg for live programming and such, but i've never made a video, how do you record a video of cues? And did you timecode everything? Or manual cue?

  • only the version for certified wyg service providers does this. very hard to get. You can best use a game recorder (ie Frap), connect a console and run your show from the console. This is a 'cheap' workaround ;)

  • I like the show but realistically it could be very hard to setup. There are some very high rig points and using things like geni towers takes alot of time and it hard to get even.

  • Must stop to write anything.

The mounting system is very very simple and consists of five bridges on engines and eight poles.

There is what could drive the dedands?

This system has already been made real, assembly time three hours.

  • ahh ok. soz about that

  • Hi,

Tell me please, did you do this show with any pc edition of console ? like grand ma on pc or wholehog HOG 3 PC?

And second question, please tell me, how you made this video?

thanks! NICE SHOW and NICE VIDEO!

  • just see that you only used R11 (!) compliments on that !

  • @SystemLockdown I'm Sorry, but what experience do you have in the live music industry??

This seems too be a reasonable simple rig as far as big rigs go, yes the truss wouldnt be full off lights like many of the big rigs are, however too get the points and rigging for that show, from what I can see, does look too be reasonable...

  • good work

  • i do professional theatre lighting and this is just beautiful :) the next step is you doing the real thing.

  • used to freelance on the jersey shore with 12 500 watt fresnels 8 1000 par 64s and two 1000 lekos Great times

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!! im dyieng!

  • quelle interface tu utilise pour créer tes shows?

  • Great Job!

  • hey, this is great, could you tell me what software did u use?? thank you so much

  • He used WYSIWYG By cast software

  • What lights did you use? i have the program but i usually design for my school, and we use ETC source fours and altman 6 in. fresnels. i'd be interested to find out the longer throw beam lights.

  • In terms ago:

    18 lyre spot 1200w

    08 lyre wash 1200w

    06 lyre wash 575w

    06 cut 2000w

    07 Bravocolor

  • What Light Controller did you use.

    HogPC or something like that?

Looks pretty nice, but some color combinations are really wrong.

  • i think that his colors are spot on. Do you do any designing?

  • Yea, i'm currenly on a school for everything about light design and sound.

First year though, but does't mean i'm noob. :P

I'm working with a lot of light and sound in my free hours to.

I'm a sound technician for a band and i'm doing some light for them to..

    So i know what i'm doing. :)

  • i didn't mean to make it sound like you didn't know what you were doing. What shool? when i am a seior in high school, i need to find one to go to.

  • Actually i'm from holland. :P

So i'm following a dutch school.

I'm at the Media College at Amsterdam.

I'm 17 years old now, but i have pretty much expierence in creating light shows. Only with conventional lighting thoug. But you can create cool effects with them to! :-)

  • im 15, and do all my light with conventional units. With a lot of practice and time. (not to mention not being afraid of heights) you can create just about anything! i am lighting a band concert at my high school tonight, i may have a video with my most recent designs in it posted :)

  • @stefan90kauw Who are you to qualify lighting as "wrong"? :O

  • @simonpca lol... replying to something of a year ago, but whatever.

With ''wrong'' i mean they don't fit together.

  • not make school, learned on the personal ground and knowledge

  • Hey! With what programm do you make this?

  • wysiwyg perform

  • very nice design man!, (jealous)/ Chris
