Lol, whatever, I've already laughed my ass off with this playthrough, enough to compensate for his noobiness, eheh... Can't wait for MGS3! Btw, the rifles work this way: light press, you aim with the laser dot, hard press, you fire. If I remember correctly that's the same for MGS3, hope it helps.

One of the things that did let me down about MGS2 was Snake...at times he comes across as BAWS as he should but he gets his ass kicked by both Vamp and Fortune.... The Snake of MGS1 would've found a way to beat both, even with Fortune's bullet deflecting he would've kicked her ass, even if he had to engage her in melee. And...

It's further ironic since Snake kicks Vamps ass in MGS4 when he's an OLD MAN.

I have to admit, I did find the controls in MGS2 a bit wonky for shooting etc. which is fine for most of the game, since like has been mentioned most of the game is centred around stealth, but for this sequence it did become problematic since it's pure action.

for some reason despite that Phil can be slow to learning something and has unbelievably short temper sometime. I have expect this to happen. Maybe you should have plan before playing classic games (that may have a lot fans base). Because the game design mechanics from 2000 (or older) can made you simply forget about when the game was made at the moment. when you have to improvise them then the most quickest way to throw something bad on is pretty much "Bad game design".
