@SexyPenguinGal thats true, but theres also the point that, socially stunted as he is, Sherlock thinks hes doing her a favor by stating what he thinks is "the truth." and in the case of her "boyfriend," well... he was right.

@CassandraMotou Very true in the case of her "boyfriend". It's the comments about her lipstick in "A Study in Pink" that make me feel so sorry for her, though. Harsh.

Still, Sherlock is an AMAZING character, and the fact that he is so socially stunted definitely helps to build a fantasticly un-perfect hero (even if he doesn't think he is one)

@SexyPenguinGal thats why i phrased it the way i did ^_^ its really only his opinion, but like most people would, he believes it to be the "truth." naturally he would bluntly tell her so, like he would with anything else. its pretty clear to me that she fancies him, so she would obviously be extra-sensitive to what he says... hes just, well, clueless about it XD
